Comedy Central South Park is known for its adult humor and a non -political irrevance. It's not a series that someone ever expected to see the remaining for children. However, in Kuwait, that's exactly what happened. Not only was the Kuwaitian Rip-off of South Park developed for a young audience, but the series was so successful that the spin-off series continued to be netted-something that the real "South Park" never achieved.

"South Park" created by Trey Parker and Matt StoneRose from modest beginnings. Parker and Stone created the world of South Park in two animated short films in the 1990s, made with simple cardboard animation. When one of these shorts became viral-one of the first videos on the internet to do so-the series was collected by Comedy Central and arrived on TV in 1997. South Park continued to find success globally, laying the foundations for the creation of "Block 13", "Blatent of Kuwait", "South Park".

"Block 13" was created by Navaf Salem al-Shamari and debuted on Kuwait TV in 2000. The series was developed After South Park was bannedPerhaps surprising, in Kuwait for his offensive jokes about Islam. "Block 13" copied many of the design of South Park characters almost true, though the characters' clothing was changed to better reflect Kuwait. Instead of emulating "South Park's adult humor," Block 13 "was directed to families and children of all ages. The series lasted only 3 seasons, but it was popular enough that it was still repeated on Kuwait's Ramadan television.

Although "Block 13" lasted only 3 seasons, the series was a huge success in Kuwait. It was also a significant series for the country, with the first animated series ever produced in the Arab states of the Gulf. Similar to South Park, the series dealt with current real -world problems affecting her audience through comedy, though in a much more open way. And while "Block 13" was focused on the younger audience, his humor did not completely lose. Abud, the Eric Cartman series version, was still the subject of jokes about his weight, while Salum, the version of the series of Kenny McCormick was still killed regularly in funny accidents.

After completing "Block 13", the series was caused by the 2003 spin-off "Kalob". The series was followed by Katuta, a purple cat and a calob, a pet from Honey on "Block 13" (maybe Amalgam at South Park Craig Tucker and Butterers Sotch). The series shows several appearances by Kimo from the characters "Block 13". Although the second season was planned and due to the air of Alai TV, the budget restrictions led to its cancellation.

Despite the "Katuta and Kalob" failed to start season 2, the success of "Block 13" continued. The series received a restart, entitled "13th Street" in 2022. The series has a more polished -style animation and unites many of the creators of "Block 13". The series is still working on the VO, Dubai and Dubai TV platform, Avaan.
