Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak sparked romance rumors after they were spotted holding hands after dinner in Aspen.
The musicians are currently not tied to anyone significant, so their dinner date surprisingly raised eyebrows.
However, insiders insist that Carey and Paak are not dating and are just working on new music together.

Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak Grab Dinner In Aspen
According to TMJCarey and .Paak dined Sunday night at Catch Steak, a popular celebrity hangout in Aspen.
While at the restaurant, Carey and Paak reportedly showed signs of a new romance. They held hands as they entered the fancy steakhouse and were visibly happy to be in each other's company.
Reports further revealed that Paak showed great chivalry by holding the door open for Carey as she entered. He also wrapped his arm around her waist.

Carey and Paak's actions at the steakhouse seemed to indicate they were more than friends, but eyewitnesses at the restaurant revealed they left separately.
Additionally, sources revealed that the singer's relationship is professional as they are working on new music together. Insiders went on to say that the couple was in the studio in Aspen and took a break from their busy schedule to have dinner together.
The "Places to be" singer announced video by him and the "All I Want For Christmas" singer at the Electric Lady recording studio. However, it is unclear what project Carey and Paak are working on.

Anderson .Paak Files For Divorce
In January, Paak filed for divorce from his wife, Jae Lin Chang, to whom he had been married since 2010. In the divorce petition, Paak requested joint physical and legal custody of his and Chang's sons, Soul Rasheed and Shine Tariq.
Paak also asked the court to end the child support award to Chang. However, he did not specify the official date of their separation.
A few days after filing for divorce, Paak was spotted with Dutch singer Sterre Marith Tapilatu on a Mexican beach. The couple held hands as they walked along the sand of the beach at sunset.
