In July 2021, Baldoni appeared in the Sarah Grynberg episode "A life of greatness" podcast and opened up about his previous "unhealthy" relationship with pornography. He revealed that he was introduced to pornography at age 10 before he had an erection or knew his feelings about anything.

Baldoni said for Page Six"It was, you know, like any boy seeing tits for the first time, it's exciting because our culture has protected them from us because they're sexualized. It's cultural."

He added: "You go to places like Africa and different tribes... and a breast is a breast. We've sexualized this thing, so of course it becomes fascinating and interesting, and you're like, 'Oh my God, tits.' And then, you know, the hormones kick in."

During the interview, Baldoni also admitted to turning to pornography for "refuge" in moments of loneliness, abandonment or pain and described it as a source of "dopamine rush".

He shared, "I've trained my brain to deal with pain with a dopamine hit... But that doesn't mean I'm not using something in an unhealthy way."

Baldoni also said, "And I found myself, throughout my life, going back to looking at pictures and videos of naked women when I felt necessarily bad about myself. And I knew that was a problem for me when I told myself I didn't want to to work."

Baldoni's past comments about pornography came two days after Lively's filed suit for sexual harassment against him, claiming she suffered "serious emotional distress" because of his behavior.

The 37-year-old actress also claimed that things got very heated on set and that a meeting was needed to discuss her demands regarding Baldoni's behavior on set.

TMJ reported that Lively demanded that she not be shown "nude videos or pictures of women" and that Baldoni's past "pornography addiction" be no longer mentioned.

Lively, who shares four children with husband Ryan Reynolds, also demanded that Baldoni stop discussing his "sexual conquests" in front of her and others on set. She added that he should not mention the private parts of the cast and crew, ask questions about her weight, or mention her late father's name.

According to the lawsuit, Lively also demanded that there should be no more "additions of sex, oral sex, or on-camera climaxes" beyond the scope of the script she approved when she signed on to the project.

Lively also claimed in her lawsuit that Sony Pictures, the distributor of "It Ends with Us," acquiesced to her demands. However, she claimed that Baldoni orchestrated a campaign of "social manipulation" to destroy her reputation.

After Lively's lawsuit, Baldoni's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, sentenced her in statement. Freedman claimed that Lively filed the lawsuit to "fix her negative reputation," apparently referring to the backlash she faced for how she promoted "It Ends with Us."

Baldoni's lawyer also said Lively's allegations were "false, outrageous and intentionally malicious, with the intent to publicly injure her." Freedman also claimed that Lively was deeply troubled during filming and threatened not to appear on set.

Legal advocate further claimed that the actress had threatened to "not promote the film", adding that all her actions had led to its "failure during release".

Baldoni suffered a major setback shortly after news of Lively's lawsuit hit the headlines.

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that WME, which also represents Lively, has dropped Baldoni from its talent agency. However, there was no further communication about WME's actions.

Meanwhile, aside from his lawyer's statement, Baldoni has yet to respond to Lively's lawsuit or his agency's move to end his employment with him.
