Finally it's here, "That" is the trailer for director Guillermo del Toro, who fell as part of the Netflix Tudum event before the November 2025 film debut.

"Frankenstein" starred Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein, Mia Cooked as his beloved Elizabeth, Obeykob Ellori as a creature, and Christophe Waltz as D -Pretorius (Diabolic scientist character introduced in the film by Jamesjeims Keith). It is also the film that Del Toro was trying to make his whole life. The film only got Greenlit in 2023, but Del Toro talked Making a movie "Frankenstein" of at least 2008. (Then he wanted Throw Doug Onesons, his usual actor for beings, like a monster himself.)

Many of Del Toro's previous films tell Mary Shelley's "Modern Prometheus" stories. From Helboy to "Pinocchio", Del Toro wants to follow inhumane outbursts and their relationships with their fathers. Speaking recently at the Cannes Film FestivalDel Toro said his "Frankenstein" would have a big heart as his movies usually do:

"It's an emotional story for me. It's just as personally like everything. I ask a question about being a father, to be a son ... I don't make a horror movie - sometimes. I'm not trying to do it. (...) What I can say is, for me, it's an incredibly emotional movie."

Alexandre Desoplat, the composer of Del Toro of the "Shape of the Water" in 2017, also said that people should not expect a horror result from Frankenstein, which says:

"Guillermo's cinema is very lyrical, and my music is pretty lyrical. So, I think Frankenstein's music will be something very lyrical and emotional ... I'm not trying to write terrible music."

Does Frankenstein trailer give us a hint of that lyrical result or emotional storytelling?
