Blake Lively received support from "It Ends with Us" author Colleen Hoover following her sexual harassment lawsuit against the film's director, Justin Baldoni.
Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni on Friday, accusing him of engaging in sexual harassment on the set of the film. However, his lawyer responded by calling Lively's allegations "false."
Baldoni has since suffered a setback as he was dropped by the talent agency that represented him, while he admitted in a re-interview in 2021 that he had an "unhealthy" relationship with pornography.

Blake Lively's lawsuit against Justin Baldoni
In her lawsuit, the 37-year-old actress claimed to be Baldoni engaged in sexual misconduct on a movie set. So a meeting was called to clarify her concerns, and Baldoni and his production company agreed to several of her requests.
Some of Lively's demands included: "No more showing nude videos or pictures of women to Blake, no more mentioning Baldoni's alleged past pornography addiction, and no more discussing sexual conquests in front of Blake and others."
Lively also claimed that Baldoni and his team ran a smear campaign against her shortly after the meeting. As proof of her claims, she cited private emails and messages between him and his crisis PR representatives.

It didn't take long for Baldoni's attorney, Brian Friedman, to respond to Lively's lawsuit. He did so by means of a statement for The New York Times.
Freedman stated, "It is disgraceful that Ms. Lively and her representatives would make such serious and categorically false allegations against Mr. Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios and his representatives."

Freedman described Lively's claims as "completely false, outrageous and deliberately twisted with the intent to publicly hurt and repeat the narrative in the media".

Baldoni and Lively's Rumored Feud
Rumors of trouble between Baldoni and Lively began circulating on Aug. 6, after the pair were not photographed together at the world premiere of "It Ends with Us" in New York.
Baldoni was not photographed with any of the actors in the film, although Lively had several shots with her co-stars. It was also noted that Lively unfollowed Baldoni on Instagram. Fans also noticed that Baldoni did interviews for the film by himself, while the other cast members did interviews together.
Despite these and other observations, neither Baldoni nor Lively have spoken directly about their feud, although they have discussed their experiences while making the film.
