In the episode "Seinfeld" "The Bubble Boy" (October 7, 1992), George (Asoneyson Alexander), his girlfriend Susan (Heidi Swedenberg), Jerryi Seinfeld (Iaululia Luisi) which belong to Susan's parents. However, before leaving, jerryers have been stopped by a man in a cafe that recognizes him (Jerryi is a well -known comedian in the show's universe). The man invites Jerryryers and his friends to visit his son Donald (Jonon Hayman), who would appreciate the visit of a celebrity. Donald is sensitive to microbes and must live in an airtight plastic tent to avoid getting sick. Jerryjers, as very rough, immediately call the child "bubble boy".
When the trip finally begins, Georgeorje is a warrior on the road and pushes through the journey as soon as possible. He arrives early in Donald's house. Additional time forces George and Susan to spend time playing trivial execution with Donald, which is his only real passion. Donald is never seen on the camera, but his bracelets can be seen in the frame manipulating a trivial execution board. Donald, reveals George, is incredibly rude and smuggling, boasting about his trivia skills. ORC hates him immediately, but agrees to play the game. Of course, Georgeor's eventually becomes defensive, and eventually turns to the boy's mockery in the plastic bubble. Did I mention that the characters of Seinfeld are all terrible people?
Asoneyson Alexander, as he revealed on the special features of the episode DVD, the kind of hatred "Bubach boy". The episode came during the fourth season of the show, and Alexander felt it was a little too concept for his own good. Most episodes of Seinfeld were obtained from recognizable, daily neuroses. "Bubble Boy" was, he felt, officially a situational comedy. It was a sign for the actor that Seinfeld failed.
Asoneyson Alexander felt the bubbles bubbles is too high-concept
Here's how Alexander described it on the special features of DVD:
"" Bubble Boy "is a perfect example of everything you shouldn't do. Because first of all, where are we? A bubble boy?
Alexander does not say that, but he has clearly felt that the concept is too complex for Seinfeld, a series that is common for everyday foibles and the way terrible people respond to them. Seinfeld avoided many traditional tropes of Sitkom, not only was the "situational" ethos of the format. Situations at Seinfeld were usually non-bundles or banal events. The "Bubble Baby" was, in the eyes of Alexander, too extreme. (Didn't make our list of the 15 best episodes of Seinfeld.)
Episode writers, Larry Charles and Larry David, have found a way in that "everyday" term in the "bubble boy", of course. In the culmination of the episode, Georgeore finds the type of one of the trivial execution cards that are "mops" instead of the "Mavras". Since he loses so bad, he will not allow Donald to have it, even though he knew the correct answer. Georgeore stops on the ground and looks like a complete hole in the process. Despite the high concept, there was still a way to bring out the petty of Georgeorge. They all live in hell on their own building.
In the end, Alexander found himself around, acknowledging that "Bubble Boy" was not so much a moment "shark jump" as it was a way to push the envelope. "Another great example," he said, "from me wrong, right." It takes a big man to admit it.
