Helboy's primary associate has always been the fisherman Abe Sapian (He played in the films Del Toro of Doug Onesons). Helboy and Abe are both agents for the Paranormal Research and Defense Bureau (BPRD). Together, they travel the world to return against the things that go overnight.

To stand out from Del Toro's "Helboy" films, "Helboy" '19 did not include Abe or Ferterter Liz Sherman. Instead, Helboy's partners were viewer Alice Monahan (Sasha Lane) and BPRD Major Ben Daimo (Daniel Dai Kim), Verkett. Daimo comes from spin-off comics "BPRD"set after Helboy left the desk.

Alice first appeared as a baby in the story of Helboy's "The Trumpet", set in 1959. Then Helboy exposes the fraud, above Gruggac with iron to show his true form and saves Alice.

This is why Gruagach humiliates Helboy, and to bind the "wild hunt" even more with the "corpse", Mignola returned the adult Alice. Touched by FAE, she's over 50, but it doesn't look like that. She and Helboy are in charge; Alice stands by him, facing Nimju, and then leaves behind him to mourn when he breaks his heart. To give Alice a greater role in the action, the 2019 film adaptation gives a gun and the opportunity to call ghosts.

Hellboy's last scene before the loans are characterized by Helboy, Alice and Daimo in the raid of a warehouse belonging to the cult Doomsday, known as the Aans society. There, they reveal a water tank holding "iCthyo Sapien" - it's abe, whose sad hand presses on the tank.

Speaking at ComicBookMovie.com in 2019Helboy make -up artist Eloel Harlow confirmed whether that sequel was green, Abe would appear. However, its design would have been reworked:

"If we did the whole character, first of all, it would be much different from other films, more violent, and we wouldn't even have gone with the hand that you would see at the end of the film. We would design something from scratch. It's one of those who, because I have an eccycle to fishermen and fisheries, would be really fun."

Based on the inclusion of Aans society, it seems that the sequel has probably never done the comic book (he is a mutated 19th -century man who once named Langdon Everett Kaul), which the films "Del Toro" "Helboy" never did.
