Although Hayden Panettier was hard to do as an actor, most "screams", "heroes" and Nashville fans can agree that we would like to see her in many things. That is why little advocates to reveal that she has been auditioning for "Landman" for The Texan oil industry drama created by Taylor Sheridan and debuted in 2024. As Panettier explained in Interview with US Weekly:

"There was an audition I was supposed to do for"Landman. ' (My former 'Heroes Costar) Ali Larter's role is what I was reading, and as much as I want to work with Taylor Sheridan - who is just a genius and, creating his characters and their relationships and things, he's really a genius - I was like, "I have no chance of getting this."
Panettier added that he sees this as a mistake and feels that he should have only appeared on audition, just to see what happened. "I have to be careful not to go as an actor," she noted. "(I have to) do not judge what I am capable of or judge what others think that I know what others will look for. You have to go for it. I just try not to go out in my own way. (...) I can sometimes be a fool for not just doing it."

The character Panettier was to be auditioned was Angela Norris, the troubled ex -wife of the main character Tommy (Billy Bob Thornton). Although initially seemed as a trophy's one -dimensional wife, Angela is gradually revealing that she is a woman with many layers. It is understandable why Panettier would hesitate to audition for the role, though; Angela (and the actor who plays) have been about 10 years of Senior of Panettier. It is credible that the show was aging Angela down because of Panettier, but leaving the little older Ali Larter to take over the reins was probably the best for what the series had.
What does Hayden Panettier have been doing lately?
Although Panettier could have had a lot of fun by playing Angela at Landman, she still had enough projects to keep her in the meantime. After taking a break in acting after Nashville wrapped in 2018, she returned for a major role in "Hide VI" in 2023. She quickly followed this with the 2024 Amber Amber thriller and the 2025th of the 2025 "breed except". Most of her new projects were not big critical pets, but Panettier herself was never the problem with them.

If Panettier doubts her talents as an actor, I hope her turnaround in "Hide VI" helped convince them. After all, the main reason she was in that film was because fans loved her performance so much in 2011 in 2011. Although her character Kirbi was stabbed with a knife with a a lot A big knife and seemingly was a total gonner in that film, the "Hide" fans were fully prepared to accept the manual explanation of Kirbi's surprise survival (even if It was originally not to be returned to "Hide VI" in general). Realism is damn, people wanted to see Panettier as Kirby (and for her Stay back as kirbi) by any means needed.
Talking to Vanity fair In 2023, Panettier admitted that he was "terrified" of his return to acting with the sixth film "Crick". "I was afraid that I didn't have what was needed more," she explained. "I was four years old, and it was like a muscle that was atrophied if you didn't use it. I was afraid I could not remember it in the same way, that I would ask myself, a second assumption." Fortunately, Panettier revealed that her line memorizing skills were returning more, and the "Scream VI" production ended over time, she returned to the swing of things.

"It helped so much to have a friendship that we had on the movie," Panettier added. "The cast, the crew was so warm, so welcome. All the time we laughed. We had a lot of fun and we had each other's back. Every time I stepped on the set, I became more confident and got more and more that faith."
