Florida parents have been jailed more than 50 times after boating their child with a seat belt

A Florida couple is in jail after authorities charged the parents with severe child abuse. Lance Eugene Rachel He allegedly whipped the juvenile "more than 50 times" with a belt, according to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office. Meanwhile, mom Kimberly Corene Racheldid not stop the blow. Details of the Belt Incident involving Florida parents

sheriff's office published a summary of the case on Facebook on December 16. He revealed that the investigation into the Florida parents began on December 11 after receiving reports of alleged abuse that had occurred days earlier on the 7th. That day, Lance, Kimberly and the juvenile were at a home in Kissimmee.

Police said Lance became upset about a missing couch cushion and accused the juvenile of lying about it. For almost half an hour, Lance twisted and beat the teenager with a belt.

"The suspect viciously punished the child by yelling obscenities and physically abusing the victim for 28 minutes. The victim was hit more than 50 times with a belt. He also choked her and called her various offensive names and other obscenities," the sheriff's office posted.

Also, Lance Eugene Rachel allegedly told the child that he would break her jaw. The incident is partially recorded on the home's surveillance cameras. Detectives interviewed Lance on Dec. 16 and allegedly confirmed the abuse.

At one point in the incident, Mr Rachel told the victim he was going to break his jaw. Some of the incidents were captured on home surveillance cameras. Kimberly Corene Rachel is under arrest for witnessing the abuse and failing to report it to the police.

Combined charges against the Florida couple include aggravated child abuse, battery by strangulation and failure to report child abuse. The police ask anyone with information related to this case or any other similar incident call the Osceola County Sheriff's Office at (407) 348-2222.

At this time, there are no additional updates on the child's identity or who has custody at this time.
