Improved crime drama at Richard Linklater in 2011 Bernie contains Jackack Black's betting performance. The film tells the true story of Bernie Tide (black), a gentle man in the community of Carthage, Texas, known for his soft speech behavior and civil generosity. Bernie in a local funeral home and has a reputation for funerals to look better and more fancy. His nessicity makes him a little unstoppable for the locals, with many debating whether he is a queer or just wants to spend time with old ladies.

In 1990, Bernie meets Marjori Nugent (Shirley McLean of the "apartment", among many, a lot Other films), a rich widow that buried her husband. Marjori is a special case for Bernie, as it seems to be the least pleasant, the brightest person in the city. The couple soon started what she could, at a view of passing, looks like a romance, but it's more likely friendship. Marjori, though externally, has widespread interests. However, their relationship develops in a very strange place. Bernie, for his part, is trying to stay calm, but Major continues to push the buttons, causing Bernie to feel trapped.

Bernie was eventually detained by police, but he is so loved in the community that no jurors will condemn him.
