From a strict power point of view, the primary antagonist of Marvel Thunderbaltes is Robert "Bob" Reynolds (Louis Pulman), whose superhero incarnation Sentiri and its destructive dark side, the gap, are the most powerful opponents. However, the closest thing the film has on a comprehensive big bad CIA director, Valentina Allegra De Fontaine (Iaulia Louis-Dreyfus). This is an interesting development because De Fontein is slowly taking over the role of Nick Hughes (Samuel L. Acksecson) as the primary Spaymaster of the Marvel Universe in recent years. Both are known for running an Senna Intelligence Agency, sharing the tendency to build powerful protection tools they can control - De Fontein has the Sentiri project, Hughes continuously inspecting the Captain America project: The Winter Soldier - and is known to use.

Given these similarities, it is interesting that "Thunder" goes away to build De Fontaine in anti-line rage. Like Hughes, she is a capable commander who is difficult as a manicure, but her leadership is undermined by unwanted traits as proudness and desire for personal power. Unlike Hurry, she has no luxury to work outside the government's jurisdiction and proves that she is unable to support politicians. Instead, it must fight and improvise throughout the film to avoid impeachment. And unlike Hurry, she is also fully ready to sacrifice her people and means to save her. All this gives De Fontein a unique combination of relentlessness and clever that allows Louis-Dreyfus to portray the character as a combination of a cruel games and leader of Vepp-Stil who is constantly out of her depth ... and a scene in the "Thunderbaltes".

However, when Bob turned out to be superpowers and she takes him to the New York Watchtower, we get a short scene that reveals more about her than she probably would like.

This short scene explains a lot about De Fontein's own ammorality and alertness - she is her father's daughter, after all - and suggests that any conditions in which she grew up cannot be good. In other words, De Fontein is directed to the path of the relentless power player of both nature And cherish. Moreover, while she looks very comfortable in her own skin as a CIA director, it's pretty saying that Bob's touch specifically sends people to experience their absolute worst memories, and the experience is enough to briefly break down the usual facade of De Fontaine.
