Stop me if you've heard this before - the Motley Recefts crew is forced to come together and save the day, despite all those who face them, thinking they are doomed to fail. In the military classic "Dirty Tens", it is a package of prisoners who are tasked with killing the Nazis in World War II. In The Guardians of the GalaxyIt is a bunch of ragtag would be heroes with unusual figures and unusual vocabulary that save the universe. In "Suicide Squad", it is "Dirty Tens", but with supervisors directed by the guy who made the films "Guardians of the Galaxy". But with "Thunderbolts*", it is a composition of rejected mercenaries and social parishes with superpowers that need to be saved before they can sometimes hope to be useful for someone else.

It is also One of the best films in Marvel's film universeNamely because it No Feel like something of the current era of the MCU cinema.
The Thunderbolts*, named for the perfect season of loss in the loser season (sponsored by Stan tires) that Jelena Belova (Florence Pug) played as a child, includes the aforementioned black widow, the winter soldier, (Wyatt), Aves St., Aves St., Aves St., turned Congressman Baki Burns (Sebastian apartment), the useless dedicated adoption of wie. (Hannah Johnon-Kamen) who has finally had her molecular imbalance under control, Taskmaster (Olga Kurilenko), and nursing Russian super soldier Alexei Shostakov/Red guardian (David Harbor), who fully relied in his embarrassing era of Dad.

And then, there is Bob (Louis Pulman), a seemingly regular All-Man, with some serious mental health problems, which crosses the crew, after Valulia Louis-Dreyfus, Valentina Allegra de Fontein, imposes everyone in a deadly trap. United we stand, divided, fall, or whatever, but the title "Thunder*" works together, not out of commitment or order - but because it is the only way any of us can hope to survive the hell. The result is a real human story of superpowered anticheroes and research on how exposure to non-stop violence can cause permanent mental damage.
Let Florence Pug run MCU
Whether it's completely fair criticism is subjective, but there is an assumption that when renowned actors sign a superhero film, they "weaken" it. But as superhero films continue to develop, so does the demands of the screen actors. Marketing can be strongly focused on Baki Burns, but makes no mistake, the real leader of the Thunderbaltes* is Jelena, and Florence Pug's performance is sincerely one of her best. With its expressive face and innate ability to withdraw into the audience and Feel What she feels, she gives probably the strongest leading performance in the movie McU from "Avengers: Endgame". (Note: I said "Film", if we turn on television, that honor goes to Elizabeth Olsen as a scarlet witch at "Vandavision", I don't.)

There are many combat sequences and glossy pieces (trick coordinator Heidi Parimaker, really brought his A-game to this one) to fill the required quota for action, but Pug is the emotional anchor that elevates this above the usual pipes and tights. MCU desperately demanded (and struggles to find) its new pillars to replace Avengers, and "Thunderbolts*" proves that Jelena is a damn beam support. As is the case with all Marvel films, the message can at times get a little heavy hands, but no matter how often Jelena unloads self-depressive criticism of herself or allows impuscar syndrome to take the steering wheel, it always feels original because no one works at the same level as PUG.

Villains - human and super - are serious threats
Despite being a superhero film, "Thunderbalci*" is visually cold, dark and denied - which is thematic appropriate to the central themes of the film about loneliness, sadness, regret, PTSD and learning how to afford to worry. It is also a key reflection of the biggest bad on the film, the personification of government corruption, known as Valentina De Fonte, and Bob/Senttri/Void. Valentina uses its government position and power to force the thunder to carry out their bidding, not unlike the way government systems around the world build and exploit their most vulnerable communities. Louis-Rayfus is essentially playing the Vepp Vep Meyer version of Vep, and it is perfectly suited for her. It is a poison behind a pointed smile on the way to turn the Aryan Eugenic fastener.

But the right position is Louis Pulman as Senttri/Void, which could also be a "bipolar disorder: supervisor". He commands while fluctuating between three different versions of the same character and the fact that his genes Evoke the memory of other desired characters Just adds another layer of its stunning performance. Thanos may have been a greater threat in the sense of a galactic war, but the gap really frightens me because it represents an anxiety that many of us fight every day - the idea that we, with simply existing ones, will poison everything and anyone approaching us with our misery ... even if we do not want to happen. The gap is a frightening villain because he does not work with explosions or aggression; He just smeared you in any outside, while you're inside, you are trapped in the labyrinth prison of your subconscious. It practically causes an existential crisis only by seeing it.

Pulman has been fighting the claims "Nepotism only" for some time, but the Thunderbaltes should close today's. He has the goods.
A sense of humor to prevent you from being absorbed by the gap
Because, as it is understated, although seriously in the tone and theme such as "Thunder*", the film is also mature with the usual MCU Banter fans. Fortunately, the humor is launched as a tool for telling stories of balancing darkness. The combination of Marvel's main chapter, Eric Pearson with Annaoana Kallo of "Color Konamaman", "Haki" and the fame "Bear" as the minds behind the script was a clearly winning combination, and one of the MCC should consider trying to replicate ahead.

When the world is terrible, many people turn to fantastic escapism to exclude the reality of their condition. I? All I want to do is watch movies for people who feel terrible and learn how to survive in front of all the horrible. "Thunderbolt* delivers just that, and provides a spoon of laughter-laughter moments of David Harbor to help descend the drug. It's a self-conscious, serious, action-comedy that never sacrifices a story to make his point, and never talk to the audience even if it has to do with the audience.
"Thunderbolts*" is exactly the type of film that MCU needs right now, but after losing a string of less than Ellevous performances, I am afraid that the audience will not fall for second -sided players, which will only send the message to the powers, and to return to boring, good, good, good. But I hope I'm wrong. I hope "Thunderstorms*" are overcome in the box office and helps the new era of Marvel films, allowing the actors to act, the stakes are raised by Putting characters in material environments instead of cgi hellCharacters that force us to flex our empathy muscles, and Florence Pug lead the way.
