This post contains spoilers For the "last of us" Season 2, Episode 3 and some information from the video game "Last of Us Part II".
Season 1 of "The Last of Us" was everything to find a new place in a world that was squeezed in an older time. Infected by the Cordyceps virus, we got a look at the ground level of what civilization looked like, with small pockets of wandering that tried to do it through this nightmare grown by mushrooms. Now, in Season 2, the Revenge Mission that Eli (White Ramsey) finds itself opened the gates of Acksexon and sent her back to the wild to find Abi (Caitlin Dever), which was last seen Practicing his golf swing on ELOEL (Pedro Pascal) on stage that delivered pure horror from your-Vash.

Fortunately, the courtesy of one beloved Eyes (Isabella Merced), Eli knows that the highest name on her murder list belongs to the WLF, a mysterious group that can cause a danger to our hero and prevent her from accomplishing his mission. But just what is WLF? How many members are there? Is Eli the only threat to this mysterious group and who leads the package of an unknown organization? To break down all this, here's all you need to know one of the biggest threats in season 2 "The Last of Us" and the cold -blooded leader of all of them, who has a Wendeta against another warring coalition.
The Liberation Front in Washington (WLF) is another fraction in the last of us
While ELOEL and Eli's relationship was gradually decaying, it was also an organization that they made a desperate effort to avoid the last time we saw them. WLF, also known as the Liberation Front in Washington or the Wolves, was a group formed by a rebellion against Feder (Federal Disaster Response Agency), which worked as the last remaining subject to apply law and order throughout the country. Their militaristic methods eventually fulfilled friction in Seattle when the rebel group to become WLF protested against the limited distribution of food and materials to their oppressor, as well as public executions carried out by Fedra.

As the conflict continued, peaceful protests led to what WLF supporters were shot and the founding wolves were labeled as terrorists. Feder received fierce methods to destroy the uprising, killing some of the founding WLF members and leaving a person alive that will eventually lead the growing opposition (more for him later). With this change of government, the wolves have become a greater threat to fedar, resulting in a comprehensive war. The final victory went to WLF, courtesy of the new head that mediated new alliances and turned the Liberation Front in Washington into the successor. However, regardless of the initial goal of fighting the tyrannical organization, WLF ended not so much different in the end.

Isaac Dixon left Fedra to join and lead WLF
In "The Last of Us Part II", one of the main villains of the game is Isaac Dixon on effe wrightwho repeats his role for the second season of the show. In the 2020 game, Dixon's backstew is not deeply explored, but it is known that he was a former Feder member before malfunctioning at WLF. After the death of key members in the second group, Dixon took over the leader and took drastic measures to ensure the security of those previously oppressed.

Circling Seattle-based survivors, Dixon has turned the city football stadium into a safe shelter-fortress for farm and cultivation, keeping threat, infected or not, from the outside. However, Dixon began to rule an iron fist, gradually becoming as authoritarian as the former entity that struggled to overthrow him. Rounding out the execution of the remaining members and supporters of the Feder, Dixon has become just another dictator in the world that has ended. Even so, with a military background (set to be explored in the show), former members of other broken fractions found a home with the main wolf, including Eli's biggest enemy.
Abi and other fireflies joined WLF
Before Abi continued her plans in episode 2 of this season, she revealed to Eloel not only who he was and where he came from, but where he was from. After Elloel's attack on the firefighting base and Eli's rescue, the survivors found themselves without a place to go, leading them to align with Dixon's newly formed WLF. Along with her former Firefly comrades, Abi and her group earned the nickname "Salt Lake's crew" after their previous home in Salt Lake City. The group consisted of Jordandan, Leah, Mani, Nick, Mel, Nora and Owen, all of which played a role in retaliating their former group by finding Eloel and encouraging his brutal execution with the hands of Abi.

Before this crucial moment and in the life of Abi and Eli, Abi drew Isaac's attention when he saw how much potential had the former Fire World. Talking about how important ABI will become, it will spoil future plot threads for "Last of Us" fans who have never collected the games, but just be aware that Abi's story is far from over and will somehow end up caught in the middle of the WLF and another fraction that has just begun to appear in the show.
Wlf are at war with the seraphs
Part of what Dixon makes such a force to be considered his unwavering determination to destroy the neighboring group of WLF, the seraphs. A cult-like order that wears clothes and leaves what is left of the technology, the group uses basic weapons and communicates in gigs, which at times can be more frightening than any close click of infectious. The nickname "scars" among the WLF because of the scars of the face they apply to themselves, the Seraphites found a new home on the island, which was once the suburb of the lower part of Queen Ann of Seattle, but was cut off due to flooding. Maintaining the distance from the WLF, they were able to live alone with seraphic pockets, intertwined around the newly formed island.

But even with the efforts of the Seraphites to live in peace, Dixon was determined to remove the scars. Tired of anyone, except for his own and prompted to take over the whole Seattle, the WLF went to war, with both sides committing inexpressible acts against the other. In the game, Dixon is seen throwing seraphs in cages as well as bothering them for information. While the Seraphs can be a quiet group on the surface, their members have resorted to ceremonial executions of enemies involving splitting because of their prophet. Because of these archaic rituals and tactics, Dixon took extreme measures to take out the enemy, he became obsessed with destruction, becoming so hard -working that even his best soldiers.

Wlf is tighter than fedar
When you overthrew the government force that crashes those who had to protect them, one thing to take into account is to make sure you do not do the same. Unfortunately, it is a lesson that Isaac Dixon fails to learn (or just directly ignore), becoming an even more cold heart and intolerant of something that is not ready to follow the country's country law. What is interesting is just how it will appear in the show compared to the game ... Specifically for Abi, which is a big part of this plot.

Now the question is how much of this information will be revealed (and when) in the HBO show, given that the game makes the brilliant choice to split the playing time between Eli and Abi. Havee must see if the play has a similar approach, and we are iousubopite to see if the WLF or the Seraphs are on top, because the 2nd "Last of us" continues on HBO and Max.
