The big difference is that in the game "The Last of Us Part II", Abi appears without fanfare or explanation, while the series reveals earlier this season 2 that she is the daughter of Doctor Eloel killed to save Eli (white Ramsey) in season 1.

Just warn: "The last of us" has remained pretty loyal to the original material so far, so it is safe to assume that its bow will be essentially the same in the show. By doing so, it is safe to say that Abi's bow is probably not as you can expect after you watched the "last of us" season 2, Episode 2. In "The Last of Us Part II", she is a co-propagonist along with Eli, with the player to control the big pieces of the story. In the end, Eli again follows Abby down to finally take revenge, just to end up saving Abi and Lev of their hijackers instead. In the last moments of the game, Eli forces Abi to fight her to death, and even has the opportunity to kill her and finally take revenge on ELOEL. Despite this, Eli in the end cannot pass by that and allows Abi and Lev to go free than to continue the cycle of violence.

So far, HBO's "last of us" has remained quite faithful to the source material. But the biggest rhythms are the same, and some scenes, like Acksexon's great dance, where Dina (Isabella Merced) and Eli Keys have been taken out of the games.
