While there are many K-drama remake of American shows Movies also have the properties of South Korea that have since been reproduced by US study and networks. However, "Good Doctor" works for the Korean industry-standard 20 episodes, while The "Good Doctor" covers 126 episodes through seven seasons. The Korean series also tells a very concise story, working towards a clear end, while keeping S-O in pediatrics and his romance relatively clean. The American adaptation, on the other hand, takes the time to develop its accompanying team, moves its protagonist into general care and makes him better accepted than his peers faster.

Despite these differences, both plays are strong in its merits, even by the fact that the "good doctor" grows to become a series with just passing the similarities with his Korean predecessor. Outside the United States, a "good doctor" received remake in Japan, Turkey and Thailand, while inspired the addition of a character similar to the S-O in the Hong Kong series "Life-by-Death".
