The world of HBO's "Last of Us" TV is incredibly gloomy. Not only civilization as we know it ends with a fungal infection that effectively turns people into zombies (Just don't call them so), but society is now divided into countless fractions - many of them violent, cannibalistic or authoritarian. However, the worst is that the HBO show set the apocalypse Cordyceps in 2003 (against 2013). This means that the people in "The Last of Us" missed seeing Rohirim's indictment of Pelerir Shields in "King's Return" and never saw "revenge on Sit". (Having a "clon attack" to be the last movie "War of Starvars" that people were able to see is pretty depressed.) In that universe, "Lost" never changed television forever, And the audience missed the "Fullmetal Alchemist", "Howl's Moving Castle" and a masterpiece that is "Hunter Hunter". "Halo 2" never came out, and neither Nintendo Wii.

In case you spend hours on IMDB trying to find out what "Curtis and Wiper" is so that there is no use, don't quarrel, because the answer is easy: it doesn't actually exist.

In the world of "The Last of Us", "Curtis and Wiper" were the 80s action franchise-think "deadly weapons" with an equal partner and more beautiful, Rogue One. The films follow two former commandos that go hostile to fight the bad guys. What makes this franchise different, however, is that Viper is a trained ninja. That's right, this is a policeman and ninja film that works together.

In the game "The Last of Us Part II", Eli finds a poster for "Curtis and Wiper 4" and explains to Dina that in that film, the two former commandos are struggling with Russian spies (because they certainly do it).

References to the "Curtis and Wiper" films are a cute way to show how important pop culture and art is even in the apocalypse, but in Season 2 of "The Last of Us", it also serves to show how the Acksexone community has found enough sense of normal thinking about watching.

Most importantly, however, "Curtis and Wiper 2" specifically has a heart connection with ELOEL. Back in the first episode of season 1 "The Last of Us", we follow ELOEL's daughter, Sarah (Nico Parker), while she tries to find the perfect gift for ELOEL's birthday. She goes to her neighbor and asks if she can borrow a DVD to Curtis and Wiper 2, Do not know that in the other room, the neighbor turns into infectious. Watching "Curtis and Wiper 2" is the last thing Joel and Sarah do together before the apocalypse and Sarah meet a heart end. The fact that Eloel is trying to watch Dina because Eli does not speak to him quietly, he emphasized how emotionally destroyed his discharge with Eli.
