Screen rivalry between jerryers (Jerry Seinfeld) and Manumman (Wayne Knight) is one of the funniest aspects of Seinfeld. Manumman lives in the Jerryjeri hall in the same apartment building and works as a carrier. For reasons they are never revealed, Manumman and Jerryry are hated with each other with a fiery passion. Jerryryers welcomed his neighbor with "Hello, Manumman" who dripped out with outrage and hostility. The character was introduced outside the screen and was initially expressed by Seinfeld's co-creator Larry David, but eventually played Knight, who gave a sublime comedy. Manumman first appeared on the screen in the season 3 episode "Suicide" (January 29, 1992).

Manumman was a series of semi -plays, appearing in 44 episodes of the show. This was just a small part of Seinfeld, however, watching 180 episodes lasted during its nine seasons. Some of the show fans thought that Knight, a comedy veteran, should have been allowed to play a bigger role in the show. The four leading characters of Seinfeld (played by Seinfeld, Iaululia Louis-Rejfus, Michael Richards and Jason Alexander) were all shallow, terrible people, but they seemed to be the fondiers of each other. It would be a great addition to the dynamics of having a character that jerryers just belittled, Sunday after week.

Seinfeld himself must have thought so. In 2014, Seinfeld took to Reddit to answer questions from fansAnd he expressed a tremble of regret because Makeumman made a regular real series. After all, there was no reason that Seinfeld should have only four main characters. Could have been easily five.

Asked by his favorite accompanying character, Seinfeld was direct, writing:

"Manumman would be my favorite accompanying character. I mean, when I had to have a real wicked malfunction as I would have Superman, it was a dream for me. There is no superhero that has no wicked rush, and I had to have. And I wanted that no one ever asks" why didn't you like a newman? "No one ever asks me, and no one questions it.

Knight, it should be noted, he was already an experienced actor for characters as he debuted Seinfeld. He had minor roles in high-profile films in the 1980s, such as "All Americans" and "Born July 4" before expanding its repertoire in the 1990s with excellent accompanying spinning in Dead Again, JfK and "Basic Instinct". Knight had a talent to attract the attention of notable directors, as can be seen from his work with Oliver Stone, Kenneth Branag and Paul Verhoven. He landed his gig of Seinfeld shortly before playing the devil for computer hacker Denis Nedri in Steven Spielberg's "Jurassic Park". He made voices in Disney movies and spices his scenes in Gus van Sant's "Die". (He was also in Space Jam, but no one is perfect.) He even entered the Marvel game, playing microchip in Bonkers-Ass "Punisher: War Zone".

Knight also played a regular role in the hit series "3rd of the Sun" and was a leading or co-lead in about a dozen other TV shows. Some maybe well remember him from The 1993 comedy series "The Edge", Deathly violent show that was too far before its time, or by that time Knights actress and characters Margo Martindale worked together as private investigators in real life (yes, really).

Knight certainly had the chops, so we had every reason to include him in the basic quartet of Seinfeld. Kramer liked him, Jerryry hated him, and conflicts will provide many stories. They were supposed to do that.
