tom brady Revealed his first reaction when he learned Bill Belichick had decided to become the next head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Brady addressed his former coach's decision in call to team philadelphia eagles Beat the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday night on Fox.

"When I heard the news, I was kind of shocked," Brady told Fox play-by-play reporter Kevin Burkhart. "I don't think this is the opportunity he's looking for. But obviously, they got a great coach.
"When I've been in the locker room for many years, those guys are going to play hard. He's going to coach them well. It's a big plus for all the players that come into the program because they Got the best coach the NFL has ever seen - and now he's at the college level.
Burkhardt asked Brady how he thought Belichick's recruiting efforts would go.
The former New England Patriots star quarterback admits his former coach wasn't the warmest guy in the world.
"He's not the warmest, fuzziest person ever. It's not like there's a lot of that... I remember the year after we won the Super Bowl our first year, we were sitting on Bourbon Street after we beat the Rams in 2001 A limo, we got in the limo after the game and the next morning at the MVP press conference he said, “You know what, Tom? You had a really good season. "It's just as warm and fuzzy as Coach Belichick," Brady said.
Belichick will succeed Mike Brown as head coach. The Tar Heels are 6-6 on the year and coming into the game against UConn fenway bowl. Freddie Kitchens will serve as the team's coach for this game.

North Carolina has been to six straight bowl games. They have had a 10-win season since 1998.
