The SEC Wolf's "Law and Order" franchise reached the "Empire" status. The original Mysteries for Mysteries for Murder debuted in 1990, and ran for twenty seasons for twenty seasons, finally approaching 2010. Not satisfied with 20 years, Wolf resurrected the series in 2022, and has been stable since then. The first spin-off of the show, "Law and Order: Under the order: Special Victims Unit" in 1999, which focused on cases of sexual assault, proved to be more popular than the original, running for (from this writing) 26 seasons. From 2001 to 2011, the two big hits were joined by the psychologically complex "law and order: criminal intention", a series that told the audience Whodunnit from the beginning, and that was also noticeable success. Recently, the L&O franchisee has been joined by four successful seasons of "law and order: organized crime".

But not everything in the Universe of Wolf was a success. Indeed, two of the plays in the franchise lasted only one season each, nor successful enough to become a cane. "Law and Order: Jury Judgment", a more lawyer-centric show, lasted only 13 episodes from 2004 to 2005, and, noticeably for this article, the location-transmitted "Law and Order: La" ran only 22 episodes before receiving the ax. These shows were not bad, they warn you, but they were not striking enough to plant their ancestors.

There was every reason to believe that "law and order: La" would work. It was very centrical in Los Angeles, and even had to be geographically accurate. The episodes are named after Southland neighborhoods, and the show was filmed a little differently from all her Newouge colleagues. But after only one season, the plug was pulled. It seems that the show just doesn't attract enough audiences fast enough.

Lola's cast was impressive (Even if they did not make our ranking of the 15 best characters "laws and order"). The central police officers played Skete Ulrich and Corey Chair, and they developed good chemistry together. Alfred Molina later played the main detective, and his former work as a prosecutor gave him a special insight into the criminal activity. Lawyers from the "Order" half of the show were played by Alana de la Garza and Terrence Howard after taking over by Regina Hall and Megan Bo. They played typical lawyers in the style of SEC Wolf. Structurally, Lola reflects the original "law and order", proving perfect, holding an ultra -reliable structure with five ranks that has been codified decades before. Tonal, however, it was different, just because the vibration of Los Angeles is more stripped of the newuork.

Lola ran into a "criminal intention" block for the 2010/2011 season, and simply did not find his audience. Maybe Yorkyork-was not vital to many L&O fans in the world. After death in 2011 in the deadline The NBC chair, Robert Greenblatt, interviewed, and he said Lola was canceled because it simply did not enter a high level. "We tried," he said, "but we didn't have time to get it back if it didn't show signs of growth."

Later, The podcast called "Futton Critic", " Greenblatt admitted that Lola actually does well in the ratings, but that it is a tumultuous, fast production and that it is not a super-hit that he clearly wanted. He said:

"" Law and OK: La ", I think we just didn't take it out of the ground. It was put on the schedule without a pilot last fall before I arrived. There was all kinds of chaos: the show was going well, then it was downloaded. In a different scenario that could work better, but we just thought it was a strong enough player."

It should also be noted that the show suffered a great creative overhaul on the road, adding the chaos.

"Big Renovations" of "Law and Order: La" were essentially retelling. Although only in the ether for 22 episodes, there were more changes in staff. It was Small of "law and order". The series started with a chair and Ulrich as the main police officers, but Ulrich was mixed in favor of Molina. Terrence Howard was also brought on the road. Wanda de Jesus originally played the police chief as heavy nails Arlein Gonzalez in the pilot, but Rachel Tikototin replaced him. Regina Hall and Megan Bo, as mentioned, played the central characters of the show, but were just part of the first half of the show. Howard and de la Garza were their replacements. (De la Garza, it should be noted, was a character of a transplant from 17 to 20 season of the original series.)

It certainly did not help Lola that she was taking a prolonged break while all this Rigmarol reviewed. The first eight episodes of the show aired weekly from September 29 to December 1, 2010, and then took a four -month vacation, not returning until April 11, 2011. Since the cast was now totally different, and the break caused the dramatic momentum of the show to break, felt like a whole new show. Every sense of continuity was lost, and even interested viewers suddenly had to be done again. Writing never suffered, the work of the characters was strong, and the acting was on the spot (The chair is highlighted and, let's, his Moden was not bad in "Ant-man and wasps: Quanumania"), but no one was paying attention.

Despite the respectable ratings, the play was axed, becoming the third series "Law and Order" canceled at that moment. The franchise continued to approach, but the damage that the LA version never offered an appropriate challenge for all those New Yorkers with the hit that.
