Director Paul Feig's thriller for 2018 "Simple Benefits" feels like he goes out for a lifetime. In a way he did. The film, starring Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively, was a theatrical hit ahead of the pandemic completely changed the cinema as we know it. Now, it's a landscape that dominates streaming. Something ironic, the prevalence of streaming has allowed Feig to reunite Kendrick and Lively for a sequelMade for Strimmer, a specific video by Amazon Prime Minister, seven years later. And for the better and for the worse, "another simple benefit" is really decadent, far desirable, even a more sexy affair. In a way, it's a perfect streaming movie.

The sequel is collected several years after the events of the first film and centers of Stephanie Smarts (Kendrick), who unexpectedly visits her old friend Emily Nelson (Blake Lailey) after being released from prison. They united on the beautiful island of Capri, Italy for Emily's extravagant wedding of a wealthy Italian businessman, where Stephanie served as a maid of honor. Stephanie is suspicious in Emily's motivations, but it is indicated how it is, in no small part to help sell their book for their previous meeting. Of course, the murder and intrigue follows as this wedding takes place, putting Stephanie and Emily in the middle of even more perverted series of events once again.

Wouldn't be fair to be called the "simple benefit" totally grounded image of movement. It is certainly luxurious, and the mystery is revealed in ways that can really allow only film. However, it maintains more based quality on it, and it is probably Feig's most serious film to date. With "another simple benefit", Hague leaves the country behind for something far more camps and murobivor. The mileage will be different from how attractive it is, but it certainly feels like a fungal entertainment designed for the streaming era.

Credit where the loan is due is not as if one of the camp or stupidity is unintentional. From the jump, it is obvious that Feig wanted to do something more over-top. It's a kind of bold move. BEE was very easy to do the same thing over. After all, it was good enough for the first time, right?

Whether the final product is just as satisfying or as narrow air, it is certainly ready for debate. "Another simple benefit" is a much more movie, which is very undeniable. If the first film was a meal of steak and potatoes in a nice restaurant, this is a bar-what-you can eat a dessert bar, packed with fancy sweets. Is one better than the other? Nutritionally, yes. But they both taste well.

Not so big of tone jump as they say "Gremilins 2: The new series" was Compared to his predecessor, but it's certainly a jump. Feig is absolutely entertained, and someone would be under pressure to accuse this of being a boring movie. It is extravagant, funny and excessively stopped, with more layers of onions. Dancing on the edge of the razor in terms of shark jumping. All the time, he feels like Feig knows it, so he does not fall apart. He has confidence in the chaos.

If this film has strength, its two waters are undoubtedly. Anna Kendrick comes out of her directorial debut "Womanena on the lesson". She grew up a lot as a performer and director in the years after the first film came out. However, she pulls out immediately in Stephanie's shoes pretty comfortable, going where she carries this tricky scenario without skipping rhythm. But this is a piece of chemistry, and Stephanie is not approximately so attractive as it is related to Emily.

To that end, Blake Lively shines bright as constantly mysterious, bold and sexy Emily. Livo, coming out of last year's success "it ends with us", is packed with confidence, which works perfectly with the direction of the story at times. From the perspective of chemistry? There is oil and water that occurs between Kendrick and Lively.

But if it has the highest position here, it's alive, who makes this absurd sociality sings. We need to hate her, but you love it. One thing that Feig knows how to do is throw. From the return of Henry Golding and several other key members of the cast to add new, welcome accessories, as is always welcome Allison Annenen, it is difficult to argue against the ensemble.

This film in some real wild directions and is not as polished as its predecessor. At the same time, it feels in accordance with what happened before. It certainly does not betray the characters or the world set by Feig. There is nothing worse than a boring sequel and, even if not everything is narrow air, this is far from boring. There is something to say about it in the era of franchise for color franchise.
