A senior official in the Russian military was killed in Moscow in a deadly explosion on Tuesday, according to officials. Igor Kirillov, the commander of the Russian armed forces' chemical, biological and radiation defense troops, was sanctioned in October by Britain over the alleged use of chemical weapons in Ukraine.
