Bezos, Zuckerberg, Pichai, Cook fight for Trump's time

Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Sundar Pichai and Tim Cook have all reportedly sat on the book with President-elect Trump before his administration begins.

Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp and Threads parent company Meta Platforms, traveled in November to Mar-a-Lago, where he met with the president-elect.

Trump said December 12 that he and Bezosthe founders of Amazon and Blue Origin, have held meetings in planning.

"Mark Zuckerberg has come to see me. I can tell you Elon (Musk) is the other one, and Jeff Bezos will show up next week," he told CNBC at the time.

FOX Business reached out to Google for comment on The Information's report on the planned meeting, which included an unidentified spokesperson and another who did not respond. Regarding it, Trump Communications Director Steven Cheung said in a statement, "We do not comment on reports of private meetings that did or did not occur."

While talking about Zuckerberg, Musk and Bezos on December 12, Trump said, "I want to get ideas from them. Look, we want them to do well, we want everybody to do it, and we want great jobs, great pay. We want people to love and when they wake up in the morning, like wake up and 'I like to go to work, I want to go to work.' We want people to work, and we want them to work for a lot of money."

Dinner between Apple CEO Tim Cook and Trump is also set to happen on December 13, The New York Times reported, citing unnamed sources. FOX Business reached out to the Trump transition team and Apple for comment.

Trump will officially take office following his inauguration in the nation's capital on Jan. 20.

"He seems to have a lot of energy to reduce regulation, and my view is, if I can help him do that, I'll help him," Bezos told The New York Times in early December.

Pichai also spoke to The New York Times during the DealBook Summit held on Dec. 4.

"In my conversations with him, he's definitely very focused on American competitiveness, especially in technology, including AI," the Google CEO said in a recording from the event, adding that he and Trump did not talk about the antitrust case against the tech giant.

In recent weeks, Trump has unveiled picks for the Federal Trade Commission, Federal Communications Commission, Justice Department and other top government posts, paving the way for a new administration that will soon be associated with the companies of Bezos, Zuckerberg, Pichai and Cook. need to navigate.

Zuckerberg, whose company has drawn criticism from Trump several times in the past, said on Threads that he "looks forward to working with you and your administration," while Pichai said, "We are in a golden age of American innovation and are committed to working with his administration to help bring benefits to everyone."

Cook also said Apple "looks forward to engaging" with the administration "to help ensure that the United States continues to lead and is driven by ingenuity, innovation and creativity."

"Wishing @realDonaldTrump every success in leading and uniting the America we all love," Bezos wrote.

Meta, Amazon and Alphabet are collectively worth $10.04 trillion on a market capitalization basis as of Friday afternoon.
