"Prison Break" was one of the most popular shows in the early 00s, and recently got a second life thanks to streaming. It's a show that - like "24" and "Lost" - helped popularize serial narratives on network television. Then, in Season 3, Sarah is abducted by the mysterious and powerful organization known only as a company, and Lincoln is given a beheaded head of Sarah in a box as a punishment for not working with them.

Although Lincoln reportedly saw Sarah's true head in a box, it was discovered in the first episode of Season 4 that she was still alive.
