The real reason Dunone 3 is fast, according to director Denis Vilnev

For a while, it seemed that the fans of watching the spice flow had to wait a lot of time to see how things shake Paul Atries after "Duna: Part Two". Fortunately, director Dennis Vilnev changed his melody and prepares to put a pen on paper on "Dunone 3", aka "Dune Messia". So why did Vilnev decide to follow the third installment in this epic franchise for science, exactly?

During the Q&A of the Saturn Awards (through Colider)Vilnev referred to his decision to get the right to work on the Dune Messia, who will adapt the second novel in the desired saga of the author Frank Herbert. The filmmaker explained that he had previously expected to make another movie between trips to the Duna world. However, the appetite for this story to continue was pure visible:

"Janie's heart is broken and that's the beginning of the Holy War and that's where we left, so in a way, I would say it's quite like. I was expecting to do something else before, but honestly, that's the inspiration that came to The mind while I was resting this summer and I was coming back and finishing the story.

Vilnev certainly has a point. "Duna: Part Two" made only shy of $ 715 million in box office, lagging only "wicked" in terms of Global gross for films nominated for best Oscars this year. Overall, "Part Two" was nominated for five Oscars, although Vilnev was again left out of the race for best director.

It makes sense to extract Dunone Messiah sooner than later than later

However, Vilnev is ready to dive into the story of Paul with another trip to Arakis. Conspiracy details for "Dune 3" are largely under the sheaths, but there will be a big jump on time. The events of the next film will take about 12 years after the Holy War of Paul begins, which means we will see these characters in a completely different place in a completely different time in their lives.

This is some problems. Timote, Shalam, who plays Paul, looks youthful. To play Halamet once again in "Dune 3" can be difficult, given the jump of time. But Vilnev is a good enough director, and Shalamet is a good enough actor, which will surely find a way to do so. They are also expected to return to Zendaya Canie and other key players, though nothing is completely set on fire.

For Warner's Bros., getting this third installment that goes sooner than later, has any sense in the world. "Duna: Part Two" made a lot more money than the first "Duna", suggesting that the franchise audience only increased by 2021. If Vilnev could get the lead and get the third film in the can and hit A. 2026 or 2027 the date of publication, considered to be money in the bank. It only makes sense for everyone involved, and it is certain to make the fans happy.

"Dune Messiah" currently has no release date, but stay up to date.
