Those alive in 1995 are probably reminiscent of Matt Stone's unclean virus and the unreliable animated "Spirit of Christmas" at Trey Parker. It was the one where Jesus entered a fight with Jesus Christ, each constantly threw a F-bombs. The "ghost" was attached through Hollywood and College campuses - sometimes on VHS, sometimes through floppy disks and downloads - attracting a lot of underground attention. The short end began to be played on retrospectives of animation and, in my experience, exploded in popularity thanks to the projections of the annual Spike and Mike Animation Festival. By 1997, Stone and Parker were asked to develop the "Spirit of Christmas" in a TV series by Comedy Central. The network wanted something like cruel and irrelevant as short, but on a weekly basis.

South Park managed to do soDrawing a lot of attention - both positively and negatively - for his style of cruel animation, and even a cruel sense of humor. The pilot episode was called "Cartman gets an anal probe", followed by the heinous cardboard cards (Parker) after he was abducted by aliens and, yes, given the observed proctological procedure.
