For Star Trek fans, Marina Syris is a royal family. Known for his role as a semi-human, semi-butterial character Dejana Troy on "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (along with numerous other performances in the Star Trek franchise), the actor actually had a very fruitful career outside that seminal science series. At one point, she appeared on another long -standing science series where she was playing a Russian doctor, just to find herself stumbling in the lines after receiving a compliment from the Starwarra series Richard Dean Anderson. It seems that the former Starwar "McGire", which played Colonel Jackec O'Neal (after Kurt Russell has refused the possibility To repeat the role), he refused to leave the set while the actor of the caliber of Syrtis was there in order to deliver his lines out of the camera, even though he had to go time with his daughter. In 2000 Rasta found Stargate command struggling to activate the title portal before revealing that the Russians had managed to return their own Stargat from the remnants of the ousted Biliskner, the Supreme Commander's personal ship. Since the Russian portal was stuck on the departure of the mattress, the SGC was unable to use its own Starghat, which made Dr. Markov ask the crew to investigate.

In the end, Markov joins Dr -Daniel Acksexon (Michael Shanks) and Major Samantha Carter (Amanda Tapper) as they really pass through the Russian portal, leaving Colonel Jackec O'Neal (Richard Din Anderson) and Tea (Christopher). Soon he tries that the "water" of the aquatic planet is not at all water and is actually a race of aliens. Once Teal'c has become applied with tiny beings, they manage to escape back to their home world just as Markov, Acksecson and Carter are returning. It all did for an exciting adventure, though not as exciting as getting a compliment from McGire himself.

Watergate was broadcast in August 2000, by which Marina Syrtis was well established thanks to her "Star Trek" mandate (fortunately she was Saved from firing as Denana Tri Due to the "Star Trek" exit). But that did not prevent her from stumbling over the lines after receiving a compliment from Richard Dean Anderson.

In the video through Omega pathsSyris discussed her SG-1 experience and recalled that she fired a runway in front of her character and the SG-1 crew, who boarded a plane. According to the actor, Anderson wrote him in his contract that he could leave a set after 6pm to spend time with his two -year -old daughter (family time was partly because Anderson finish leaving "Stargat SG-1").
