A long legacy

Bindi celebrates his late father's 62th birthday in 2024. "Happy birthday, father. Your legacy will live forever," he wrote through Instagram. In addition to the post, he included a few sweet family pictures for years, as well as the moments of his elements as a crocodile with Steve.

"Steve's love for you will live forever. 1," Terry wrote in the comment section.

Robert honored his father in a touching video through Instagram, showing footage from his childhood, which told Steve's history and love story to motorbikes.

"For me and my sisters, we want to hold the handlebar, Dad used to take us to our morning park checks and we'll get an ice cream," he remembered in a voice over. "Some of my darling and early memories were that bike, and the bike was sitting for a while after my father died

He continued, "I tell you, every time I start that thing it starts to give it a lot of memories and I love it. Every time I get up on that bike the same path to the Australia Zoo, it means that the piece of machine he likes and I use every day I still do well.

Robert finished the video that he felt "lucky" to continue his father's inheritance, mentioned that those who came to the Australian zoo would probably "listen to him", just like Steve. “Not much changed,” he added.
