For about 25 years, Clarence Bass has been my role model in healthy aging. Recently, some photos of Clarence when he was 87 were posted on his website. website It's exciting because he's really breaking the stereotype of frail old people.
Like me, Clarence struggled to overcome the limitations of aging despite two hip replacement surgeries. He also suffered from back problems that made deadlifting a bad idea, but he just figured out a different way to get the same benefits.
As you can see from the photos, he is still doing intense workouts. Clarence walks and does mobility exercises every day, does high-intensity strength training once a week and does a high-intensity aerobic exercise. His diet is also very good. Apparently, this habit works well for him.
