In the 1996 "Scream" classic, the narrative occupies an incredibly self -conscious turn when Jameimi Kennedy's character, Randy Mekex, begins to explain the "rules" of a horror film's survival of a bunch of friends at a party, apparently blessed. Not only that, but Randy points out that archetypes like the "virgin" usually survive, making everyone lost when you say that you cannot get down and get dirty and hope to survive a horror. Without these specific jokes, the film as dark funny and nasty as the "cab in the woods" might not have appeared.

Directed by Drew Goddard (also known for creating "Daredevil", working in "Good Place" and the 2018 film "Bad times in El Royal") and Written by Goddard and Ossos VedonThe "Cab in the Forest", which came out in 2011, blew the audience with its smart, strange funny takeover of a potential origin of horror film monsters. (According to this film, they come out of underground bunkers. Pin in that.) Now, the movie - who starred Chris Hemsworth, Starvala "Gray Anatomy" Esses WilliamsAnna Hutchison, Fran Kance, Kristen Konoli, Richard E. Ennkins and Bradley Whitford - makes waves on HBO Max, according to Flixpatrol.

So, whether you've never seen the "cab in the woods" or for the first time you are looking at the film, what is the deal with this innovative horror movie? Also, will it ever get a sequel? (I bet no but you can never say these days.)

As the "cabin in the woods" opens, we get to know our stereotypical group of children from college: "Virgo" Dana Pank (Kristen Konoli), "athlete" Kurt Nogan (Chris Hemsworth), "Blood" Ulesules Luden (Anna Hachzon), Hutchison), the "fool" Martti Mikarski (Fran Kanz), and "Jump", "McCrea" (Heules Leiden (Anna Hutchison), the "fool" Martti Mikalski (Fran Kanz), and "Chilel". All of which are referred the eponymous cabin in the woods for escape. What they do not know is that this cabin is actually a kind of bizarre place for experimentation, driven by a conglomerate known only as "object", and we spend a lot of time with two technicians of objects, Gary Sitterson (Richard E. ENENKINS) and Steve Hedley (Bradley Witford). Cabin air to facilitate students to easily manipulate, a group of five frightening cabinets and all finds different artifacts;

Holden, Ulesul and Kurt are then systematically killed because Marty and Dana discover the facility itself, including a bunch of horror film monsters in cages that are then published by the technicians. (Personal anecdote: I saw this film in college and was the only WIMP horrified by this monster sequence, while the rest of the theater was hysterically laughing. The world actually ends, because Dana survives briefly (well, before she and Marty blow up at the very end of the film).

Probably won't have a sequel This A special cabin because of that mentioned explosion and plus, every character you probably liked from the first (and, from this writing, only) the "cabin in the woods" is extremely dead. Also, the world has ended. Is there a world in which Dr. Goddard reveals a way to focus on a different object - we find out that there are objects around the world that do the same experiment to ensure that ancient deities do not destroy the world - then yes, there can be potential for franchise. I don't keep my breath away; There has been little or no conversation for a sequel to the "cabin in the woods" since it came out.

I think this is probably a good thing. Any new entry into the cinema universe in the center of the "cabin in the woods" or would feel repeated or weak, so although it feels like any film restarted or continued with a sequel in 2025, this one feels unlikely. At least you can see the "cab in the woods" of HBO Max, where it is a sincere streaming sensation.
