Watch, I love dark television that ends as much as the next Edge critic, but the end of "Xena: Warrior Princess" is extremely bad. The series, starring Lucy inaccessible as a title of warrior princess, followed Xena as she tried to find a ransom for her past as a ruthless killer. The character was originally It started as the villain of the series "Hercules: Legendary Travel", But she ended up as an interesting enough character to wear spin-off all of her. Xena, as an anti-hero before we even called them, was a deep conflict character who had some horror to answer, but that didn't mean she deserved an end as brutal as those we later got for serious plays in the real world like "Breaking Bad" and "Sopranos".

"Xena: Warrior Princess" was a wild series that can be tonal throughout the place, feeling like a part of a soap opera, a part of an epic fantasy adventure and a part of Roger Kunman's monster. With executive producer Sam Raimi, helping to perform the show, things were guaranteed to become gross and just as network television would allow, but apparently the writing team had no problem cutting off the hearts of fans as easily as Xena could expose mythological Badi.

In the final in the series, Xena not only dies, but also sacrifices herself as a spirit. The fans were destroyed and it turns out that not only were the fans upset - they hated the end.

While lawlessness is not a A huge fan of the fantasy genreHowever, she seemed to want the right end to Xena's fans who felt burned by the double death of the character. She gets a pretty sweet final goodbye to her companion/friend/friend/not so much subtextual girl Gabriel (Rene O'Connor), but the Xena spirit just fades into nothing and Gabriel continues her journey feels like weak.

Co-creator of the series, RJ Stewart (who created the series with her husband of lawless, Rob Tertert) told EV that he would not go with that end if he knew he would alienate fans and make them completely leave the series, but also fans who did not like the end. There is a lot of fanfiction there, plus the real comic series "Xena" from the "Dark Horse" comics, giving people more "xena" after the series came out of the air.
