There are many beloved characters of Bill Lawrence's classic hospital sitcom, "Scripts", but a caustic attending doctor Dr. Perry Cox is definitely a favorite fan. Derek, on the other hand, is a bright spot whenever he appears because he is probably the only really well -suited adult man of the series, and his loveub to his family and friends is inspiring. Of course, he is not there and waving rocks like his wife Liz or delivers incredible monologues with life wisdom every time he gives him candy à la gender, but he is just a good person who lives a decent life and gives himself to enjoy it. Derek rules, and it is wonderful that McGinley finally got a chance to show us how great he was after a few years just to get some parts that didn't play his full potential.
