Throne has never been one of Disney's biggest franchise, but it is one of the most neuing. The adventure of Steven Lisberger's science in the 80's brought the computer world known as a network of life to life Through important developments in the field of computer generated images. It is still a visual experience with the eye, although it is significantly stuck to today's standards. Josephoseph Kosinski ("Top Gun: Maverick") managed to (mostly) squeeze the development of CGI even more with the "throne: inheritance", which gave the network of punk punk infusion. It's a bio-digital jazz, a man. With the series, she was largely asleep for the past decade and a half, the time to go back to the net with the upcoming Tron: Ares. A key difference with this latest installment is that rAther than to revise the digital world of names, he comes to our.
So much time has passed in reality and in the world of "throne" that there is so much potential in seeing where everything ended after the seemingly hope of "inheritance". There is also a question of "Ares" to be soundly coated in Banger's soundtrack from nine -inch nails. Should be a significant opportunity but Arred summer from it all feels like a cold spraying of water thrown on the main frame. Here, he plays the subtertial character Ares, AI's living program, made to be an ECOM soldier, who can be revived if he is killed in battle. Surely it sounds like something this company would do.
The inclusion of summer as a de facto main character is the real shake of "throne", as previous films were led by protagonists from the Flynn family. Kevin (Effef Bridges) was a software engineer affected by his own digital creation, while Sam (Garrett Hedlund) became the ultimate successor. There are many characters in "Legacy", such as Olivia Wilde and Edward Dillinger Runior's Silian Murphy, but Bridges will be the only member of the cast. In an interview of 2025 with SFX magazineDirector "Ares" Joachim Raning ("Malefiza: Ressbon of Evil") talked about how the lack of alum "throne" was the result of thinking about what is best for the film available:
"These things are not just creative choices; sometimes the actors no longer want to be in it (...) There are different ways to take a look at it, but I think the story has fallen into a place where we get that we didn't need the old characters to be front and center. We wanted to take this in a new direction, while at the same time."
Tron: Ares's creative team did not want to rely on previous characters
When we examine the world of Ares in its marketing materials, there seems to be significant steps with Encom and their return to the network. Makes you wonder what Flynn should say about all this. At the end of "Heritage", Sam is preparing to finally take control of Encome away from its series of greedy shareholders. Bruce Boklitner's Alan Bradley has been declared president of the board, while Olivia Wilde's quarra is seen driving at the sunset with Sam. Bridge's presence is strange in large part because Kevin was last seen as exploding (and allegedly dying) within the network after integrating with CLU. His mysterious look in Ares trailers is minimal, giving the impression that he is likely to be a small but important part.
Producer Ares, Justin Astin Springer, talks about the decision not to include characters like Quora and Alan, refreshing as a result of not wanting to make a new movie with Camos because of him (through it (through SFX magazine):
"We are telling a story that is 14 years later, and most importantly we tell this story in a way that works (...) Just throw coming, where it is a parade of people we love from the franchise, I just feel like a fan service that doesn't serve the story. But we are definitely focused on ways."
Springer's comments suggest that Bridge's presence will embark on the story in a significant way. It already has a lot to do with new characters playing Greta Lee, Illiylian Anderson, Ododi Turner-Smith and Evan Peters that Flylins does not look like a very priority. However, it seems strange that the closest thing that this virtual reality has towards the living God is an accompanying character. Thus to say, I am all for "throne" to get rid of the limitations of their own skywalkers. The absence of Hedlund is the most scratching on the head, but although I am sure they will explain it, you only need to look around to wonder why the CEO of Technology Company with the urge to share its resources with people for a better future will be expelled, leading to the 2020s.
It's just a shame that summer should be the boy literally a series of the series.
Tron: Ares should hit theaters at national level on October 10, 2025.
