Two of the best films in 2025 A24 took the top streaming tables on HBO Max

What have the films "Friendship" and "War" in 2025 in 2025, despite the fact that they both carry titles that are strange to Google? They both break it right now at HBO Max.

According to reports of FlixpatrolWarfare is currently occupying the first place for films on HBO Max tables, with "Friendship" coming to number two. Despite the fact that they both come from the A24, these two films were honestly not different. However, this is great news for the independent production company, which has released a hit after hit after a hit.

In case you are not familiar with the A24 - or you like their movies, but you don't know much about the company itself - let's overcome it really quickly. Founded in 2012, steamed a year after the hit "Spring switches", and in the years that are located, They have released very popular and critically worshiped movies Like "Hereditary", "Room", "Ex Machine", "Civil War", "Lady Bird" and "Insisable Glads", just to name a few ... and their 2022 film "Everything Everywhere Suddenly" even managed to win the first Best Best Picture.

Well, here's what you need to know, specifically, for "warfare" and "friendship" before you go to check out HBO Max, where you are at the top of the viewing graphs.

Warfare is an incredibly dark view of Alex Garland's title

First, to deal with the "war", which received a wide release on April 11, 2025 and is the second film for the US massacre by Alex Garland (which released the "Civil War", a vision of deeply divided and extremely violent United States in 2024). This time, Garland also co-co-rated the film with Ray Mendoza, a veteran of real life, which served as a Navy during the Iraq war and helped bring their own frightening experiences on the big screen.

"Reservation Dogs", D'Faraoh Wun-a-Tai play Mendoza, who works as a military communications officer in 2006-also in Iraq-together with fellow soldiers involving Corpsman Eliot Miller (also a real person played by "Shogun" Starva. McDonald's McDonald (Michael Gandolfini) Lieutenant, just to name a few. The film takes place "in real time", as Mendoza and his men are trying to watch the Ramadi mission when they find out that enemy forces have issued a call for weapons to attack them.

The "war" is frightening, brilliant at times and is considering Mendoza's time serving the United States. After all, Garland's film was a success - which is not surprising, given his pretty great performance with films such as "Ex Machine", "Destruction" and the aforementioned "Civil War" - earning a positive review of /Own film of the movie Jacejkob Hall and earning a decent respectable amount at the box office. Definitely check out "warfare" if you are looking for a high-octane and incredibly intense experience of watching, but if you want something and easier and definitely more beautiful, consider checking "friendship".

Friendship is strange, wild and finally a pretty wonderful film for obsession

As for the "friendship", which came out shortly after the "war" on 23.05.2025, and was written and directed by Andrew Deung, he starred Tim Robinson - and if you are at all aware of Robinson's work on his Netflix sketch of the same name "I think". (That Whether I feel like really long "I think you have to leave" sketch, but like a Huge Fan of the Show and Robinson's Work Across the Board, I Actually for Think this is a bad thing at all. Kate Mara) and his son steven (Jack Dylan Grazer), a weird Kid Who Kisses His Mom on the Mouth ... but that all change when he meets his new neighbor austin carmichael (a gorgeously strange paul). Craig is totally attracted to Austin's carefree attitude and obviously worldly, but after hanging out at Austin's house with a bunch of his other friends goes terribly wrong, Craig finds himself sharpened. From that point, Craig makes more desperate and sincere crazy attempts to conquer Austin back, even basically ignoring his own wife when he gets stuck in the sewer. (Long story. Just watch it.)

"Friendship" is a unique, unsuccessful and brazen small film that was firmly with critics (including /Movie is Michael Boylewho gave the film Rave Review after seeing his south of the southwest premiere) and decent at box office (especially for such a small film in Indy), but I will warn you: you one sort of must Like the crunchy, strange style of Robinson's comedy. If you do, yet? You are for treatment.

Both "warfare" and "friendship" are now moving to HBO Max.
