Seine is one of the most successful wrestlers that turn into wrestlers that they ever do. A big turn to Senna came when he was thrown as a peacemaker in director Jameseims Gunn's 2021 Suicide Squad. It, in turn, led to the spin-off series, respectively titled The "Peace -worker" who has returned for the second season since. But before offering the role of Senna, another actor in wrestler-in-form Dave Bautista-needed to play the role. So why not?

In an interview with Comicbook.comThe man known best to play Drax in Gunni's "Guardians of Gunaxi" addressed the situation as he promoted his new film "After". As the story goes, Gun wrote the role of a peacemaker with Bautista, but the second had to refuse. As Bautista says, he was too busy filming the "Army of the Dead" of Zac Snyder to tell his friend and frequent associate. Here's what he had to say about it:

"I have to say, that. And so, it was a question of scheduling that we just couldn't understand."

Bautista, for those who are unaware, was thrown as a lead in the "Army of the Dead" in 2021. Who was Snyder's first big movie after the "Justice League" debacle. There is something of the irony about it, as Snyder was the boy who started the now non -existent DC of 2013 "Man of Steel". Since then, however, Gun has become a co-chief of DC Studios and launched the DC universe after just directing DCU's first Superman film.

Gun, in turn, in a similar way talked about Bautista to lower the peacekeeper In a separate interview, explaining: "I wrote the image of the peacemaker for him and offered him the role, but he was offered two other films and we didn't pay him much, and so he had to go where the money was."

Dave Bautista had other professional responsibilities to attend

Whether it's worth it or not? It's something that only Bautista can say. The "Army of the Dead", to the point of Gun, probably paid pretty well, as Netflix tends to pay its stars in advance because there are no box office bonuses or something. The "Army of the Dead" was supposed to receive a sequel titled "Planet of the Dead", but the franchise is dead in the water for a while. Also, let's not get into the spoilers here, but let's just say that Bautista's character, Scott Ward, probably won't be included anyway.

Meanwhile, Senna is part of the new DC universe, with the "peacekeeper" season 2 arrives on widespread recognition. However, Bautista has no heavy feelings. Instead, he thinks that everything worked best, even if he was a little albag. Speaking further in the same interview on ComicBook.com, the actor added:

"I think it was great. It was a blessing in the masking that I didn't do it, because I must say, I have to be honest, there is no way I could do that role as Johnon. He's just perfect for it, you know, and I wouldn't do that justice and wouldn't be so successful."

"I say that with a little envy, you know, I would like it," Bautista added. "I just couldn't do the same thing that Johnon does to bring that character. It wouldn't be the same. I wouldn't be good. I can honestly say it wouldn't be good."

Bautista had a great career after appearing in the "Army of the Dead", starring in Duna, Knockout in the cabin and "glass onions", among other famous films. Plus, there is still a chance for him to appear as another character in the PCC. Indeed, Bautista had previously talked to Gun about him playing BaneAlthough it has been off. However, it is a big universe, and Gun could undoubtedly find something for his friend to do the road.
