Since then at least Richard Donner's "Superman" since 1978 in 1978 Cal-el-emerged from the heavens, raised as a man, grows in Savior-is recognized as Christ's allegory. Superman's father, Oror-El, not only sent his son to Earth to save the life of Mal-El from their condemned world Krypton, he did and to save the earth.

Let's take a look at the words that the previous silver screen YORL-El (Russell Crowe) gave his son (Henry Caville) in Zac Snyder "A man of steel":

"Will give people on Earth ideally striving for you. They will race behind you. They will stumble. They will fall. But over time, they will join the sun, mud. With time, you will help them achieve miracles."

Oror-El in Superman by Richard Donner (played by Marlon Brando) is dressed in white, also causing the typical Christian image of God. The Super-El Superman in Gun (Bradley Cooper) is dressed in a similar way. Cooper's Jor-El did not give his son a replica of his consciousness, only a recorded message from himself and his wife Lara (Angela Sarafian), who quarreled when the baby's Kal-Elus was landed on Earth.

Clark has always assumed that the message was to his parents who told him to save the country. But Lex decoded the message and reveals the truth: Oror-El and Lara wanted their beloved son to rule this planet, bring their "weak" and "confused" people under the heel and reboot Crypton.

As Andrew Holyman wrote for /film, This twist is the relevance of the word "inheritance" to the film's themes. Superman's legacy and Krypton's inheritance is not as he thought it was (or what the audience was expecting from past films "Superman"). Clark does not believe and is disturbed in the discovery, but with the guidance of his adopted father, Athonatan Kent (Pruty Taylor Vince), he realizes that his legacy is his choice. He wants to do good, and so he will do it.

The end of Superman, where Clark watches home films growing up in Kansas with his adopted parents, is both back and forth. Clark literally remembers the past, but with a renewed conviction of the legacy that will continue to leave. Even without "inheritance" as part of the title, these themes come through loud and clear in the film.
