Following are spoilers for the "Foundation" Season 3, Episode 10, "Darkness".

After two seasons of slower walking and very world -class building, the Foundation Season 3 has begun the adaptation of Apple TV+Asimov at high speed. Brought the long sealed villain to Pilo Asbak, Mule - though with a few big twists. Gaal Dornik (Lou Lobel) and Harry Seldon (Aredared Harris) Set the second base of Ignis. As the position of contact with positura succeeded, we were treated for a finished blow, where Kale (Rowana King) and a clear metal robot behind it were shown in a naked room. Earlier in the season, it was strongly listed in that Kale is also a robot, although one with human characteristics, like Demerzel. In episode 2, "Math Shadows", as Kale accompanies Harry in the last moments, the eye blinks red, and a moment later she tells Harry that "we" cannot have skin in the game-giving her inorganic makeup.

Quickly forward to the end of the final, and Kale and another robotic being are shown on the surface of the moon with the Earth wider, and North and South America clearly highlighted them. Why were we suddenly conveyed to such a familiar place? An even better question could be: why did the country have nothing to do with the story of the foundation until this point?

Isaac Asimov was having fun by working the country in his story of the foundation. In the books, the country is not mentioned even in serious capacity to the fourth of the five books. (The current series has covered most of the first three in the first three seasons.) In the books four and five, Mule is already in the books of history, and the new team of characters is being searched, the one that eventually involves finding the original planet of human species.

For those who are not aware, The story of Asimov's "Foundation" takes place in the same universe as "I, the robot" And his other robotic novels, only 18,000 years in the future. Robots novels are most likely to take place or at least closer to the Earth and the 50 world lights that initially colonize early in their interplanetary expansion (long before the imperial empire is set).

Now, I do not want to give everything that comes, but it is enough to say that as the story "Foundation" descends to the conclusion of the fifth book, the main characters end up finding the earth (which has become radioactive) and then reveals a hidden moon colony. Whoever encounters them and the discoveries they reveal, I will leave for another time. The key is that the moon and the earth are not the usual terms in the foundation universe. Jack, no one remembers the name "country", let alone his giant satellite and their location. Putting them in the last sequence of season 3 is a great discovery for viewers, even if most do not understand its importance - still.

When /Film caught with the show "Foundation" David S. Goyer To discuss the final of the season 3, we asked about the decision to convey this critical discovery so early in the story. Here's what the main mind had to say behind this impressive adaptation:

"So, the original plan was that it was not something we had to show potentially by the end of the season 4 or the beginning of season 5.

Goyer continued to explain that once you see what works and what not work with the audience, you can call a sound like this as you go. He used the films "Batman" (who worked with Christopher Nolan) as an example, saying:
