This post contains spoilers For the Foundation 3 Season 3 final.
The Foundation is one of Apple TV +'s best scientific shows, which speaks a lot because Strimmer has some of the best scientific shows around. This is a phenomenal adaptation of Isaac Asimov's monumental series of scientific books with the same name, constantly remaking the source material to become his own job as he still catches the essence of the books. At best, the "Foundation" feels like what Asimov would do if he actually planned the series from the beginning and made it in 2025, not in the 1950s.
Probably, the two biggest changes and the best things made the "Foundation", were the introduction of the genetic dynasty - three clones designed to represent the "impermeable durability" of the Galactic Empire - and Demerzel (Laura BIRN), the enigmatic robot of the assistants. The three emperors are simply letting letters, but Demerzel stole the show whenever it is on the screen as seemingly without emotional, calculating, unwavering robot.
However, the more we learned about Demerzel and its history with the genetic dynasty, the more "foundation" adds a level of tragedy to her story. This aspect is not in the books, but it feels very at the point of writing Asimov. Her type of robotic Stockholm syndrome, where her programmed commitment to the emperors really turned into a form of Ubov, was fascinating and shocking.
Season 3 has stepped up the anti Its role in the wars in robots, Creating the Empire and the fall of robots. This story also coincided with the best story of the emperors, with Lee Pais playing a version of Emperor Clion that fans with Ection'sugate dude, because of his carefree attitude and long hair and beard reminiscent of the main character in "The Great Lebov". Throughout the season, Pace's brother, friend, was calm, and by the end, he had a huge heart change that inspired him to try and free Demerzel from her programming and help her find her kind.
Unfortunately, it shouldn't have been, because in the season finals, both the brother, and Demerzel, fulfill the tragic ends.
Speaking with /film before the final of the season 3, show -Show David S. Goyer says he wants the Foundation's season to be "for the real drop in Empire and Freedom of Demerzel", as well as "Redemption of the Day".
