While psychochistory can only predict the masses of the masses rather than individuals, this little news was quite inevitable. The Foundation Season 3 Finals have not yet hit streamingBut Apple TV+ is already committed to at least another season of the ambitious, expensive and glorious nervous science fiction series. Today, the Technological Platform has announced that the Foundation Season 4 is officially Greenlite and will begin production early next year, which comes as great news for the fans of the current adaptation of Isaac Asimov. Readers of the original novels know that the story could be held for the next few years - as much as Eight full seasons, in fact, based on the original plan. There is no word on whether it is still the case, to be clear, but the show is certainly one step closer to achieving that sublime goal now.

Of course, this is also good for those who look forward to seeing how the current season ends. In what can be interpreted as a public show of confidence, the creative team behind the "Foundation" celebrated renewal and teasing (in extremely vague terms, Natch) that remains in the viewer store. In a statement, Co-Shows/Executive Producers Ian Goldberg and David Cob said this:

"There is no series like the" Foundation ", and we feel happiness and honest that we carry the torch forward as co-shows in season 4. We look forward to continuing the epic, emotional storytelling that defined the first three seasons of the show and work together with some of the most commercial, passionate creative partners."

Viewers with an eagle eyes may notice the name of a critical member of the creative team is visibly missing from this announcement, however, which can speak to some potential Reason to worry.

Who knew the upcoming fall of the empire and the darkness promised to come after that would not be all the sun and the rainbow? As the "Foundation" season plunged into the main chapter towards a terribly uncertain end point, the drama behind the scenes that takes place on the real production of the show can be very good at it. Those who paid attention can remember that fertile writer and producer David S. Goyer (known for His work with Christopher Nolan on Batman's films on the lastThe Blade films, the Netflix's "The Sandman" series and so on), helped bring the "foundation" to the first place. After working on the series as a show show, director, producer and co-creator of his debut season, Goyer's involvement with the "Foundation" apparently led his course on the road through Season 3, as as Hollywood reporter Reveals back in 2024.

So why shake? The report states that Goyer separated ways to worry about the budget of the season 3. The Foundation gloriously deployed the mind of visual effects for streaming series, each of which was needed to bring Isaac Asimov's vision to an epic and widespread universe. However, digging deeper, Goyer has actually expanded to this in Announcement of Q&A on his personal web site. As he explained, "I would assess my contribution to be about 85% of the (third) season - so most of the big moves. But there are definitely some creative or financial choices that were made from which I would move away." As for the fourth season, the new creative team seems to start from scratch. In another answer, Goyer said:

"I haven't written any scripts for (Season 4).

What does this mean for the "foundation" to move forward is someone's assumption. In the short term, the press statement cites Ian Goldberg and David Cob as co-shows that will take the reins from here.
