Season 2 of peace

Spoilers For the "peacemaker" season 2, episode 3, "Another rick to my sleeve", to follow it.

The Jameses Gun DC's Universe is sometimes confusing, especially in terms of its relationship with the expanded DC universe. For example, Gun confirmed that DCE's blue beetle is officially canon In his new cinema universe (though with a few changes), because he believes the character occupies a unique place in the timeline. The "Peacekeeper" is similarly unpredictable, with the final of Season 1 having DCE's justice league only for Season 2 to withdraw wild retretros by replacing the aforementioned heroes with justice gang. Moreover, confusion does not end there, because the "Peacekeep" Season 2, Episode 3, "Another Rick of My Sleeve", mentions Enchantres (Carla Delevingn) from David Ayer's badly repeated film "Suicide Team".

Scene - which takes place a few hours before Gun's "Suicide Squad" - appears at the beginning of the episode with a string of retrospectives involving Emilia Harcurt (Ennenifer Holland) and Rick Flag Jr. Rick is making a case for them to be together in significant capacity than simply friends with benefits, but he is still related to Enchantres (Kara Delevingn in "Suicide Squad") - and he is cautious about the wizard burning a hole through the planet if it breaks down.

The thing is, however, the wizard dies in Ayer's "suicide composition", and unless Gun and co. Have an explanated reason for it to be related to Rick before the events of the independent sequel/restart of Gun in 2021, we can raise this as another "peacemaker" retros. Considering that in mind, what had to say Gun about the show site in the Oreubo on the DC screen?

EnchanTress Retcon further establishes the peacekeeper as an unusual DC

The aforementioned announcement "Blue Beetle" and "Peacekeeper" mirrors suggest that the Jamesesheims Gun wants to create a greater synergy between the DCEU and DC-or DC Universe, at least, to admit that they can co-exist and mix as it is appropriate. The DC Studios chief has previously stated that both franchises are taking place in different timeframes, and the "peacemaker" is like a world for themselves. Here's what Gunn wrote before Topics As for the "peacemaker" and his place in the greater DC puzzle, probably in an attempt to clear part of the confusion:

"(You) could say that there is an infinite amount of timeline and the DCU timeframe is almost the same as the timeframe of season 1 of (" peace)) with many, very small differences. I think it is fair to say many aspects of season 1.

Fortunately, 'Peace -worker “Season 2 is so ellevelna That it is easy enough to neglect the plot holes and to resist the urge to perform mental gymnastics to make sense of it. In addition, let's not forget that there are still early days for the PCC and there will be many opportunities to connect coherently with the franchises that came earlier. Alternatively, Gun may continue to return certain stories to DCE and continue appropriately, but at least it can lead to some more explosions than the past.

New episodes of "peacekeeper" season 2 Fall Thursday at HBO Max.
