In Season 2, Part 1 of "Wednesday", all hell breaks are lost at the Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital. For beginners, Wednesday (ENENA Ortega) and Uncle Fester (Fred Armisen) reveal a hidden object under the building and find out the truth about the terrible exhausted experimentation. Among the victims, they encounter a mysterious woman, which initially seems to have a relief with the missing aunt on Wednesday, Ophelia.

However, Part 2 of the latest season releases several bombs of truth at once, revealing the true identity of the patient in 1938 (as marked in a polaroid photo of her), along with its importance to the story. This woman is no one but François (Francis O'Connor), the deceased's deceased mother, whose absence, has previously taken her to desperate goals. Moreover, she is also Hyde like her son and she seems to have some union with Mortitia (Catherine Zeta-Onesons).

François's presence is crucial to the bow on Wednesday for various reasons. The most obvious concern here is Tyler (Hunter Dohan), who should suddenly oppose the implications to unite with his mother. After all, his mother's alleged death imposed Tyler in extreme isolation, with an alcoholism fueled by his father's grief, creating an incessant argument between them. Despair of Tyler to be loved by mother figure prompted Mrs Thorhill (Christina Richie) to use her weaknesseswhich led to his transformation into Hyde back in season 1 .. Although Tyler's literal monstrosity holds a mirror of his shortcomings, he has grown to this part of his identity and feels authorized by it (unlike being ashamed).

François returns this hard -earned instinct because it shows unhealthy protection for Tyler, robbing him of any agency in the process. In addition, the return of his late brother, Isaac Night (Owen painter), complicates things, because this crazy genius will stop anything to permanently "heal" his sister to her condition.

Let's take a closer look at François's elbow and her tragic death on Wednesday.

This obviously withdrew and led to his death, so his return spells condemn him especially to the Adams family. Isaac's fixation to treat François aside, she secretly wants Tyler to set a turning procedure, making him passing him against his will. Fortunately, it intervened on Wednesday, but the subsequent outcome leads to a duo of the mother and son to fight maliciously on the roof of never again.

Despite François' complex personal motivations, she was a victim of her circumstances, which were deteriorated by social harassment and years of dehumanization in Willow Hill. It is not surprising that her first instinct is to control Tyler in the perverted manifestation of the Loveubeum's mother, as her own life is marked by similar cases of loss of autonomy. This wicked cycle breaks after she chooses to fall on her death, leaving Tyler double and traumatized. While François has never been able to taste the heat of acceptance or community, here's hoping that her son will be able to go after a lighter, more life affirmed in the near future.
