"Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" changed the animation game. In fact, it is already cemented in its place as one of the biggest points of twist in history of how the animation is done, right there to the "story of toys". By using 2D textures, 2D and 3D animation techniques and different frame rates, the film really feels like a comic book that has been brought to life. Also, it has been brought to more experimentation in mainstream animation, with films like "Teens Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mutal," "Wild Robot" and "Nimona" that have ever put their spin on the "spider-style" pioneering method.
Sony Pictures Imageworks, who worked on Spider-Werse, was also involved in developing the biggest hit of the summer: "KPOP demons hunters." The film takes place in the universe where demons are constantly trying to attack humanity. Each generation, however, has a new trio of women who use their singing to create a magical barrier that prevents demons from accessing our world. In modern times, those heroes take the form of the K-Pop girl group, who is tasked with faced their biggest threat another: Demon Band K-Pop boy.
"KPOP Demon Hunters" defies all expectations to become the most watched streaming movie ever in Netflix history, as well as success in box office for boot. It's easy to see why. The characters of the film are unforgettable, his soundtrack is absolutely attractive, the film profits very popular things like anime and K-Pop, has a good story, and its animation is absolutely stunning.
Surprisingly, Spider-Stich had a major impact on "KPOP Demons hunters", though not the way they thought. Talking to Animation magazineCo-director Maggie Kang recalls he is invited to the premiere of Spider-Versko and how, after watching the film, he realized that there was no way to overcome his achievements. "Because it was so stunning," Kang explained. "They always break boundaries and show us something new. So if we played that game, it would be difficult to win (" Spider-Volich ")."
So, instead of trying to make the film 2th/3D an animated hybrid like Spider-Volich, the creatives behind "Kupop Demos Hunters" have decided that the film should be completely 3D CGI. "We withdrew from every 2nd element in our film," Kang continued. "We took a lot of inspiration from the faces and the appearance and the feeling of anime, but (whether) the CG version of it. There is one thing we didn't catch, but I think 99.9% of all is CG."
