"Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" is great and The third season was something pure joy. Since many fans have already seen younger versions of Kirk, Spack, Uhura and the rest of the Kelvin-Stich-Stitch company's films, it has become an even greater challenge, but they have managed to knock him out of the park. Ethan Peck as Spack is absolutely perfect, with echoes from previous actors Leonard Nimoy and Zahari Quinto while still a totally unique performance and Selia raised like a young Nijota Uhura illuminates the screenDrawing from their loveube to the character of childhood.

The actors who bring them to life the younger versions of these classic characters do all a great job, but there is one that was an incredible surprise this season: Martin Quinn as a young engineer Montgomery Scott, better known as Scotti. First, appearing at the end of the season 2, Quinn manages to steal every scene in which he is without every sense of making a paste from Scotti's past.

One of the things that makes updating the original "Star Trek" Series Characters So Challenging is that they have come cultural touchstones for many, and have been referenced and spooofed to maxen sine the service debruted in 1966. The folks behind "Strange New Worlds" are clearly AWARE OF THE LONG HISTORY OF THE CHARACTERS IN POP CULTURE AND EVEN DID A GREAT META-COMMementary Episode Paul Wesley, had to channel his inner William Shatner And really go to the trademark of Canadian actor stunning dialogue, imitating the original captain Jameseims T. While other younger versions of hereditary characters were given their own minor changes because they would be different without time and experience for their "original series" colleagues, Scotty is probably different, but works brilliantly. Both Quinn and Douhan are playing anxiety in the same way, and you can see a look at how difficult years in Starflit will carry the bright young officer. He is still working only Under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Pelia (Carol Caine), the current chief of engineering, but he will be responsible for maintaining the ship before he knows, with all the stress he comes with. But for now he is still a cute young officer trying to hang out with the already experienced company team and he is perfect.

For Star Trek's fans who have been watching for years (and in many cases, decades), Kirk, Spack, Uhura, Scotty and the rest of the team of the original Enterprise Bridge are really special. Each version of Star Trek is at least something socializing, because the great part of going to adventures every week is that we have to go with the loved ones that make up every series. Only spending time with the crew is part of the draw, and they have managed to replicate that feeling good on "strange new worlds". Hereditary characters and The new characters also get a chance to shineAnd although the original series is respected "Strange New Worlds" does not feel fully viewed and is not trying to simply repeat the past-a problem that plagues the Kelvin-Stich movies.

Quinn is the perfect addition to the cast, and it is frankly an explosion he sees as communicating with the rest of the crew, as he is the new man and they all begin to set up in their ways. Honestly, I would see a whole series of almost the accidents of Scotti and Pelia in engineering, because they both have been a comical duo for the centuries. Maybe when he leaves, he will give him Her Starfleet Fanny package?
