You don't know what goals to set? Read it.

The reader recently wrote with the challenge that plot people who will compete, even if they don't always say it aloud:

"I want to move in, but I don't know what goals to set. There are so many: CrossFit, Marathons, Calisthennies, Bodybuilding. I think I should do it all. And I'm worried that I will be disappointed if I choose something and let me down."

If it resonates with you, you are not alone.

In a world full of people affecting fitness, gym advertising and shiny transformations, it is easy to lose tracking of what You I really want.

So let's enlarge and simplify it.

🧙‍♂️ 1. Try the question about gin

Imagine giving you a fitness wishes. But there is a catch: you wake up tomorrow without the memory of fulfillment.

What is the first thing you notice? Paint the photo for me.

Maybe it is:

  • You jump out of bed without pain and stiffness
  • You feel more confident in your clothes
  • Fitness is a more natural part of your daily routine
  • You have more energy to travel, have fun or everyday life

It helps to think about result you want without getting lost in methods (Like crossfit or bodybuilding).

Because here is the truth:

Depending on the purpose, it exists many Methods leading to the same result. Best? This is the one you like enough to stick to.

🧠 2. Ask 5 Whys

If you still feel foggy because of your goals, try it:

Ask yourself:

"Why do I want to be?"

Then, regardless of your answer, ask Why Again. (Repeat up to 5 times.)

By kicking deeper, we can often find something that really resonates with us.

He can take us with "I want to get in great shape" to "I want to play with my grandchildren on the floor without pain."

This is a great start, because it gives us more ideas on how to get there.

For example, if you want to be able to play with grandchildren on the floor without pain, you can start with:

  • Introducing a daily routine of mobility and flexibility
  • Exercise balance in various funny ways
  • Add lower body training 2x/week

All of them will help you shape, but more importantly, they will help you shape in a way that connects to your deeper.

⚠️ But ... if 5 emphasizes you? Skip it.

We trained many people who got stuck here.

Think:

"My why it's not deep enough." "I would be more motivated if I was right, why."

But that's it:

You don't need a perfect reason. You just have to start.

Yes, it is helpful to think. Yes, equalizing your actions to your values is amazing.

But you will learn much more About what is important to you act than you will do it, predominantly.

So if you feel stuck? Choose a general direction. Take a step. See what will happen.

You can always run later.

🧭 3. Correcting the course is not a failure

I think this is another key part of the target setting:

You can change your goals when you start!

Sometimes it is enough to say:

"I think I want to feel better. I will start with consistent action in this direction."

Going forward, you will get clarity. You wonder what Is AND is not Important to you.

Because here is a small secret: most of our coaching clients change their goals at least once as it is.

This does not mean that they have failed. This means they have learned. And goes on.

If you feel overwhelmed with all fitness noise, you are not broken.

You're just ready to stop chasing someone's goal and start building your own.

What if you want help in this? I would like to hear where your head is.

Just press the answer and let's talk about it.
