Alice Kriz is incredibly threatening as Queen Borg, and her interactions with Picard are really working on horror.

There is a good reason why "The First Contact" has been named Stewart's favorite film "Star Trek". The franchise has been advancing on television for decades, but films have always been a hit and Miss proposal. This was an absolutely one of the hits, and at one time it was kind.
