This post contains spoilers For "Eyes of Wakanda".
The next entrance to the Chinese Universe Marvel arrived with "Eyes of Wakanda", an animated series with four episodes that brings us through the history of one of MCC's most mysterious locations. In addition to giving us a cool new iron fistThe show also gives insight into the key part of Wakanda's history, including a forgotten enemy whose goals are similar to those of One of Marvel's best bad guysEric Kilmoner Stevens (Michael B. Jordandan). Moreover, superhero fans may notice this special villain, the lion, sounds surprisingly similar to former Garfield High School in DC and JW's aronverse.
A revolutionary, the lion is presented as the main antagonist and traitor of the once hidden title in "Wakanda's eyes". Indeed, the first episode is centered on Noni (expressed by Winnie Harlow), a former member of Dora Milaye, who hopes that by targeting and eliminating the lion, she will be allowed to return to order. Clever and mysterious character, Leo himself is expressed by anyone other than Cres Williams, who spent years protecting the city of Freeland in the series "Black Lightning".
Making her debut in 2018, Williams starred as the name of the show, Aka Effefeferson Pierce and quickly made an impact. Finally, the actor's actor's suit had to share the screen with other ArrowVerse heroes such as Oliver Quinn (Steven Amel) and Wally West (Grant Gustin), starting from the TV manifestation "Crossover TV" "Crisis of Infinite Countries" (which began in 2019). After that, lightning hit him last in 2021 when "Black Lightning" ended his fourth and last season, with the suit arrow in 2023.
That said, what is intriguing to Williams' role here is that while he is marked by a villain, the goals and motives of the lion appear to be preceded by another revolutionary figure that plays an important role in "Eyes of Wakanda" ... without even understanding it.
Cres Williams gets far as far as the lion ever did from Kilmonger
While the first episode of "Wakanda's eyes" takes thousands of years before the forgotten Wakandan Kilmoner returns home to cause chaos in the "Black Panther", reveals that someone has achieved parts of their goal long, long before it comes. As Williams explains to Noni's "lion", all those who follow him do it by choice. Not only that, but also the lions of the lions are also provided freedoms and access to the technological progress of Wakanda that his home country would not offer them differently. It makes Williams' character as an attractive antagonist for a short time he appears on the show, with the actor brilliantly bringing the same level of Stism and Gravitates in his role he did as he did as Jeferson Pierce in all four seasons of "black lightning".
More than that, the lion proves that for as long as Wakanda tried to maintain and isolate from the rest of the world, it was inevitable that the earth eventually entered the light and would form connections with others. This also makes it more and more important when the latest episode of the show reveals that Artefact Kilmonger admired the UK Museum in the "Black Panther" was the last stolen item that Wakandan's warriors known as military dogs were to recover. This, in turn, turns the decorative hammer into a figurative torch has gone through the centuries of one revolutionary of Wakandan to another, making Williams' lion a perfect antagonist for the story told here.
"Wakanda's eyes" now flows to Disney+.
