In the episode "Seinfeld" "Bookstore" (April 9, 1998), Manumman (Wayne Knight) and Kramer (Michael Richards) Decide that it would be good money to start their own Rickshaw service. None of them wants to be a rickshot, however, they decide to hire an employee immediately, leading to a series of many strange interviews/auditions. One of their candidates, as stronger than them, stole Rickshaw. Recall that Manumman and Kramer are not very good businessmen.

In the end they return Rickshaw and have to return it to their own neighborhood. Instead of both walking around, Manumman persuades Kramer to pull him out. Kramer hates the arrangement. At one point, when the two are on a sloping street, Kramer stops stretching his hands, accidentally sending Manumman rolling back on the hill. In a funny wide shot, you can see the poor, screaming, a helpless manumman who zooms in the street, completely out of control. Although a wide blow, it can be seen that it is definitely a manuman in that rickshaw. It can be assumed that Wayne Knight made his own trick and that the directors simply pushed him down the hill, catching him before Rickshaw crashed into something. However, the impact was far more complex than that. In fact, Rickshow was withdrawn from a truck. In post-production, the truck was careful, painstakingly, digitally wiped off the frame. You could never say from the latest reduction in the "bookstore", as the special effects are flawless. Of course, it's half a second moment, but it's still easy.

"Seinfeld", of course, is not a very FX-heavy show, so such a trick is noticeable when it comes to together.

On the special features of DVD "Seinfeld", Episode director Andy Akerman expressed relief so that he could leave the studio and shoot at the site. The Seinfeld set was on Red study in HollywoodSpecifically on Blvd. 846 North Kahuenga, while the center of LA is only about 30 minutes away (which, translated through the Los Angeles traffic, is only about six or seven miles). Ackerman also noted that Ricksho's escape is classic comic from the show he usually received, comparing it to something that can be seen in the movie WC Fields.

Episode photo director Wayne Kenan noted that recording in the city center was a problem, with he was unable to zoom too far and reveal that he was not a newujork City. He also noticed about the effects:

"We had a truck to pull Rickshaw down the street with Manuman at the back of it (of course). Then, in the post, he deleted the truck."

Ackerman was amazed at how clean and beautiful he was. Most TV viewers could not detect any VFX scam.

Fun Trivia: Richav's whole story was a last -minute replacement for the "Bookstore". The show show seems to have written and filmed a whole B-story in which Kramer offers to help the fatigue (Ted Post) by offering to download his shifts for free. Kramer, however, attracts a taxi -taxi cab, and offers its own car as a replacement. It seems that the show didn't like that story and decided to fully edit it. The story of the Newumman/Kramer Rickshaw was hastily written in its place, and was filmed completely for a day, including the truck sequence. Few have seen the exposed cab story, but the story of Rickshaw was a good replacement.
