Whenever Hollywood decides to tell the story of someone with worldwide fame (like Tonja HardingPamela Anderson, or Mike Tyson) without involving the right person in the process, the result is often disputed - or at least, it can leave bad taste in viewers' mouths. Sometimes it's because the theme of a movie or TV -Show No Want a movie or TV -Show for their lives to exist, especially if exposed or glows a light on a period that would not be experienced if they could help (see Unauthorized series of Julu "Pam and Tommy"). Other times, the studio that the project does not want (or legal need) to pay for the life rights of the person they portray, and would rather not include them in any way in the dramatization of their life story.

Some audience members can see those cases as cases of greed studio, while others consider them attempts to tell an unpolluted story without weighing the topic and Knicks potentially interesting stories for personal reasons. In the "Mike" case, the 2022 minisers tried to tell the turbulent and wild life story of a heavyweight champion and Boxing legend Mike Tyson, the risk of leaving him out at least.

If you are familiar with Mike Tyson's life and career, the choice to keep out of the series for him feels something pointless. After numerous documentaries (like "Tyson", a cruel and fascinating character study From the boxer) and hundreds of interviews through several media platforms, he is not someone who refrains of talking about his triumphs and failures. In fact, he is often so strict and honest that he shocked the interviewer and audience with his uncertain sincerity. Occasionally, it seems he does not want because he knows that his emotions will betray him, so he tells the truth, no matter how ugly, painful or worrying. The fact that Fulu chose not to compensate for or use it as a primary resource in their miniser, was, to Tyson, an act of betrayal that he would never forgive.

In 2022, Tyson went out to Instagram to clarify where he stopped for the show. He wrote:

"Don't let Julu deceive you. I don't support their story of my life. It's not 1822. It's 2022. They stole my life story and they didn't pay me. I am just a ***** I can sell on the auction bloc."

He also claims that Strimmer tried to pay his friend Dana White (CEO and president of the UC) millions of dollars to help promote the series, which White was excluded from respect and because, as the boxer said, "he honored friendship and treating people with dignity." Despite the cruel, but Tyson's fair download, the show could have been intriguing and painstaking - the boxer's life offers more than enough stories and shame controversy, thinking He was convicted of rape "But ended up scratching the surface and a shallow drama that critics and spectators dismissed in an equal way. There may be a lesson to be learned here: if you do not include the topic as a documentary participant or documentaries, at least make sure the final product ends as attractive enough to justify that decision.
