Bruce Willis thriller that wasn't supposed to give up

Bruce Willis is a powerful beautiful actor with two powerful beautiful items Emmy and numerous other awards to prove to be. However, if there is criticism that can be directed at his craft, it is that his work is not particularly diverse. He can definitely make a troubled and low key (see: "sixth sense"). It is also known that Willis is making spraying as a villain On rare occasions, such as his one -time "deputy in Miami" turn Classic role in "gravel". However, the vast majority of his roles are painted with a shadow of "charming enemy", which is a great niche - it has given us "to die hard", after all - but it can be something limited from an Aspalid point of view.

This is why it is disappointing to find out about "awakening", the thriller of Bruce Willis that has never been. Willis originally signed for the film, which was supposed to be directed by Johnon Pog in 2015. From the point of view of the fan of Willis, the premise of the film was particularly interesting: the actor would play a row forester, a man who was kicked out of a secluded island by his family and who must now defend the island of intruders attacking his brother. Catch: A red, central character of the film, is a sociopath whose personality disruption makes it not to feel fear.

In addition to Willis, Wake had an acting team that would feature names as the winners of the Academy Academy Ben Kingsley and Ellen Burasten, as well as Pepper Pepper. Unfortunately, the film fell into dark days shortly after Willis reported. The problems with financing and scheduling the scene behind the scenes made both Willis and Poj leaving the project, and that was for the film. Here's why the cancellation of Wake is a huge shame.

Waking up could have allowed Willis to flex the full spectrum of his talents

Would "wake up" be a good movie? Since the strongest film in Johnon Pog's director, the result is (really a lot of fun) directly on the video-like horror flick "Deep Blue Sea 3", it doesn't look like. However, the reason why the film was absolutely should not give up is extremely simple: regardless of the quality of the film around him, the role of the red forester would potentially allow Bruce Willis to use an unprecedented number of tools from his acting tool.

Let's face, the premise of Willis's film stuck an island defense against a group of villains is just "die" with less skyscrapers and more beaches, and more "dying hard" is never bad (unless it's The real terrible "good day to die hard"). Only this will make the film an interesting addition to Willis's filmography. However, what the deal writes about me is the description of his character. The Red Forester is an original sociopath that struggles with a sense of fear (and probably other emotions) will add an interesting dramatic element to the film and has been given a far wider and different tinted to play with its typical roles.

Then again, "Wake" could also have been a terrible accident, as well as many of the films starring Willis before he He retired from acting in 2022 after his diagnosis of aphasia. We will never know for sure, but the film certainly seemed to have enough potential that it was a shame that it never did.
