Any reference to Marvel's villain in a fantastic four: first steps explained

Spoilers For "Fantastic Four: First Steps" to follow.

All the previous films "Fantastic Four" started the team's superheroic origin. (The sequel "Silver Surfer" is an obvious exception.) To avoid any repetition, however, "Fantastic Four: First Steps" makes something different And he begins his story in the careers of the four as heroes.

However, not to worry, because the film does not leave the whole context. One of the first scenes is the Fantastic Four Guest-Glumi of "The Ted Gilbert Show". His host of Ed Sullivan-ESK (Mark Gatis) tells viewers of editing (both in the film and those who look at the real world) of the four history, showing that they were astronauts dosage in cosmic rays that gave them incredible forces and are already celebrated as scientists and diplomats?

The primary villain of "First Steps" is Galaktus (Ralph Ineson)But this version of the four also struggled with many other antagonists during their previous, adventures on the screen. Indeed, one of Sue Storm's major achievements (Vanessa Kirby) has been negotiating a peace deal with the former enemy of the four, Mall (Paul Walter Hauser).

On the way, several other classic enemies of the comic book Stan Lee/Jackec Kirby "Fantastic Four" descend in the name.

Crazy thinker

In the opening of Ted Gilbert-ordered editing, he mentions that a fantastic four has ever saved Newouper from the evil plan from the crazy thinker. Although not seen in the film, the thinker is generally drawn into comics as a man with long brown hair wrinkles, wearing a green overalls.

True to his name, the thinker is a wicked genius. Specifically, he is a master statistician who can calculate the probability and predict events with such accuracy that he borders clarity. He is also an inventor, especially when it comes to robotics.

In the first appearance of the thinker in the "Fantastic Four" #15, he and his gang attacked the Baxter building. Stealing some research by Reed Richards, he creates a "wonderful Android" to fight a fantastic four. (As the human torch is thrown into the face of the villain, he is not much of Thinker If he should plagiarize a real genius as a hill.)

Lee and Kirby did not give the crazy thinker backstew or even a real name; He was already the leader of the gang when he first appeared. Obviously, he was just a genius who decided he could best profit from criminal life, but a fantastic four threw a key in those calculations.

The red spirit and its super-songs

The third villain mentioned in the introductory editing, after praying Mann and the crazy thinker, are the red spirit and his super-songs. We, in fact, see Reed (Pedro Pascal) pairing one of the monkeys, but not the man himself. Initially, The red spirit was actually to appear on the screen (played by Johnon Malkovich)But his scenes were cut from the last film.

While the Marvel Universe persists today, he must not forget his original context of the 1960s. These were stories born from the Cold War of America; That is one of the reasons that all the heroes of the A-list have gained their power from radiation. In these early comics, you also see a lot of Soviet Russian villains. The black widow can now be a hero, but she was a wicked spy in her first performances.

The red spirit, Aka Ivan Kragoff, debuted in the "Fantastic Four" #13 as one of these villains. True to his name, he is greeted by Communist Russia (red) and can become immaterial and invisible (spirit). His monkeys also have superpowers: Michlo Gorilla is super strong, Peotr Orangutan can attract or deter objects, and Igor Babun is a shapper.

With the role of Malkovich, we will see if the red spirit has any role in playing in a future film "Fantastic Four".

Master of dolls

In "Fantastic Four: First Steps", Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bahrach) is causing a relationship with teacher Rachel Rosman (Natasha Lyon), who lives in Ben's children's neighborhood.

However, traditionally, Ben's girlfriend is Alicia Masters, a blind sculptor. Without her sight, Alicia can neglect Ben's stone look and appreciate who is inside.

Ben got acquainted with Alicia through work - in her first appearance, "Fantastic Four" #8, the four fought with her stepfather, Philip/Master of Dolls. The master of dolls is a sculptor who has radioactive clay; He uses it to make the dolls with voodoo dolls to control them, including something.

The Lord of Dolls is mentioned later in "First Steps". Reid and his assistant at the Herbie Robot have proven the Baxter building for Reid and Sue of the son's home. It turns out that Reed went beyond that; He found all the main criminal minds in New York and used them, including the Doll Master. Of course, this happens shortly before it arrives at the ground of galacutus, the silver surfer (Iaulia Garner) and shows Reed a danger that she could not take into account.

Diablo

Another criminal to whom Reid is lowering the dimension is Diablo, aka Esteban Koraz De Ablo. Diablo is a Spanish alchemist - if you think alchemia has come out of fashion centuries, well, Diablo is by Centuries ago. Thanks to pact with the devilish mephistoDiablo is also near immortal.

Diablo first appeared in the "fantastic four" #30, when the four were visiting Transylvania. He was sealed in the castle of the villagers 100 years ago, but Ben released him when Diablo promised to restore his human appearance with alchemical potions. When it was discovered as an act of fraud, Ben turned on Diablo and helped his teammates defeat him.

One of Diablo's biggest claims about fame is that he was the first villain in the seminal part of Johnon BIRN at the "Fantastic Four" in the 1980s. In the "Fantastic Four" #232, Diablo is causing four goals, anyone who represents one of the four classic elements (water, earth, fire, air) and sends them to attack the four. The four represent these elements themselves, resulting in some high contrast fights. (Ben and Nyoni are a clear land and fire. After that it becomes looser, but the super flexibility of the hill reflects the fluid flow of water, while Sue may seem to become as stunned as the air.)

The wizard

The third villain caught in Reed's crime is the wizard, Aka Bentley Whitman. His name is deceived because he struggles with technology (specific anti -gravity technology), not magic.

The wizard first debuted as the villain of "Strange Stories" #102 - At that time, he showed the solo adventures of the human torch. However, it was not long before Lee and Kirby brought the wizard as a villain in the main book "Fantastic Four".

Although introduced as an enemy of the human torch, the wizard is more contrasting to Reed Richards. Genius (though one far below the caliber of Reid), he wants to elevate Richards and prove the superior scientist. Unlike the similarly envious doctor DoomHowever, the wizard never approaches to do so.

The wizard is best known as the leader of the frightening four (debuting in the "Fantastic Four" #36), a group of you guessed-four super-clinics that contrast the heroic four. The original lineup was the wizard, Trapster, Sandman (on loan from "Incredible Spiderman") and inhumane Queen Medusa. The lining has changed over the years, but the wizard almost always leads them ... which may be why the frightening four always comes in second place to the fantastic four.

"Fantastic Four: First Steps" now plays in cinemas.
