In the episode "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" "Wedding Bellevo Blues", Spack (Ethan Peck) is considered to grow desperately over the fact that he and the nurse Chapel (Ess Bush) may not be predetermined to this day. Spack and Capel spend a few months separately, just to return with a new boy, a charming scientist named Roger Corby (Cilian O'Sullivan). Spock is as a heart attack as a volcano can be.

Then there is a reception in a bar, and the Spack feels like an alubemorrhe looking at the chapel and the Corbi together. He walks towards the bartender (lynx Darby), who notices his pain. The bartender gives him a strong cocktail, and Spack retires in his quarters. When he woke up, the reality shifted. Chapel in bed with him, smilingly happy. Of course, there is a mystery that changes reality, and Spack and Corby will come together to solve it. They discover that someone deals with the fabric of reality itself. Since any good trays can be intuitive immediately, the culprit is obvious. Reese Darby can be seen wearing a blue -shaped blue coat, the same suit that Trelane wore from the original "Star Trek" episode "The Squire of Gothos" (January 12, 1967). This is clearly the same being, or at least a similar one.

But then, the tracks and stickers for continuity will immediately enter into a screenwriter conflict: Spock first met Trelane in the "Original Series", In an episode that takes place several years after the "wedding Bellvon blues". Did the writers "Strange New Worlds" attack with Canon?

Fortunately, there is a idea what it covers about this. This version of Trelane (or whatever) seems to appear differently to different people. Spack would not recognize it, because it used to look different.

The abilities to change the shape of the mystical bartender are hinted immediately. When Spack first approached him at the bar, he commented that he rarely sees a volcano. However, this is suspicious because the character of Darby is not clear that the volcano. He has no ears, no angular eyebrows and does not treat traditional logical behavior. The reconciliation passes so fast, it can be forgiven that it assumed that the show "Strange New Worlds" made a mistake.

Changing the shape of the character is confirmed later in the episode, though, when Corby mentions that he is Andorianspecies known for blue skin, white hair and prominent antennas. It is also suspicious that the character, previously only bartender, now seems to be a full -fledged planner at Spack's wedding. In addition, it turned out quite early in that the wedding planner could attract your fingers and cause magical things to happen. The fact that he may seem to be a Volcano of Spack, Corbie's Andianian and Reese Darby for us only cementitious that he uses his magical abilities to mask.

So everyone was worried that Spack, when he met Trlane a few years later, did not say, "That man tried to marry me to have a nurse Capella!" can easily rest. Although Spack would remember that a God was changing a reality around him a few years before, he did not have to gather that Trelane was the same God -fearing (or something like that).

Okay, maybe that's far. If Spack had ever suffered a fantastic wedding in the hands of a divine being - and the one who behaved very much like Trelane - he would have, in the "finish", logically surprised him that Trelane was the same being, or at least the same kind.

Or maybe the image of Reese Darby also managed to erase Spack's memories a few days after the false wedding. It works too.
